This beautiful church has been a staple of the Lewiston/Auburn skyline for years. We hope our photos were successful in captureing the beauty of this church. Did you know that almost all Cathloic Churches built from this era are in the shape of a cross? The alter is directly under the center of the cross.

Beautiful house of worship for those Roman Catholics in this part of Maine. This is an active community of worshipers in an amazing space and the priest seemed to have a good message in his homily. The inside matches the outside of the building in terms of architectural quality and sure seems like a good place to seek out God or the higher power that you might be looking for.

The building is a wonder to look at. So much detail and it is so large. The hours each day are very short so to get inside is very difficult. Would be nice if it was open to the public incase somebody needs it. Probably the coolest looking church in the area and definitely in Lewiston. No large courtyard, just tucked in with all of the surrounding houses.

Awesome architecture! Ornate and grandiose. Wasn't able to view the interior, closed when we visited, but definitely worth a drive- by if you're in the Lewiston, Maine area. This is a great place for a day trip, or an overnight stay. Lewiston strong!

Mom and dad were married at this church. Still a beautiful church. The organ is a classic. Concerts are held there from time to time. One of the few remaining Catholic church buildings left in Lewiston, Maine.
