Monterey County has the WORST programs and services for the Unhoused in the entire state of California. The Coalition of Homeless Services knows how bad it is yet they REFUSE to do anything about it!! They are supposed to help the Uhoused or the Homeless but it is a lie! The CARs program is a waste of time no programs actually use it, Safe Parking program director does not care and will Ghost people, and Access Support network cant even do their job because the Coalition refuses to acknowledge the problems. Monterey County nor the Coalition care about the Unhoused, they only act like they do with broken promises and fake smiles. If they truly cared they would make sure their programs actually work and people would actually be able to get off the streets. I don’t know what these people do with their funding but I guarantee its not going to the Unhoused..

I don’t know why there would be any good reviews. They do nothing to help and they make promises to call you. Of course, they never call back. I think the building is there just to make it seem like they are helping the homeless but they don’t help the homeless. I’ve been in there several times and they send me away with a pamphlet. Nobody wants to help. Thanks for nothing!!!!
