Let me break this down: my daughter and I stayed at this so-called “shelter” for a short time, and when I say it’s the most wicked and unfair place ever, I’m not exaggerating. This place needs to be shut down permanently. The resources are a joke, and the women’s area? Disgusting doesn’t even begin to describe it. They have signs plastered everywhere that say “No Men Allowed Beyond This Point,” but that’s a complete lie.

Every single morning, a male staff member strolls back there to announce that breakfast is ready. Mind you, this man is back there while women are still sleeping in their nighties or getting dressed. And let me tell you, the smell that hits you at the door—period blood, doo-doo, stale piss, and funky feet—is enough to knock you out, but he walks right in like he’s inhaling nicotine.

And it doesn’t stop there. He even makes his way to the bathroom and shower area, looking and sniffing around like it’s his playground. The worst part? The women don’t say anything—they just let him do it, and honestly, it seems like some of them enjoy it. It’s creepy, gross, and completely unacceptable.

This place isn’t fit for anyone with self-respect. It’s a haven for drama, freeloaders, and chaos. Some women keep coming back year after year, acting like this is their forever home instead of working toward independence. I saw one woman, with a full-time job and a car, spending her money on hair and nonsense instead of saving for an apartment—and they keep letting her back in! Meanwhile, she’s busy stirring up drama like it’s her full-time hobby.

The staff? Just as pathetic as the facility. They let all of this happen, and it’s clear they couldn’t care less. If you ever find yourself in Greenville, NC, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. It’s not a shelter—it’s a toxic wasteland for the weak, the messy, and the downright clueless. Save yourself the misery. After she quickly spoke out you got a night out after my lighter fell out of my paocket. I said this is it for us and I grab my stuff and left that place forever. The place have so many ungodly individuals in there that it is sad. Ungodly men, ungodly women, this place is a mess and nothing good is happening in there and the crazy part no one sees it, wow. Well I am out for life and out of the state, I say, "Thank You Jesus."

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. One of the worst places to get help from added to my list, better off living on the streets then to seek help from them. I never seen a place that say they can help, when you try to apply for the help there are so many requirements you got have this or that, how is that helping? I don’t know why they’re even open.

Don't be a human be a slave minded drug addict and these Democrats will take care of you but you better not get clean and you better not want a better life or you'll be dragged down with no place to go. They don't forgive and they have a monopoly on shelter services if you don't want to be around theives and crack heads I suggest moving to Dallas TX it's no help here at all

This place is the worst shelter I have been at. I'm 5 months pregnant and they said I have to have a note from my doctor and even then I have to have one snack a day . I've fallen here twice cuz they spilled juice on the floor and had a seizure here twice cuz they have me out in the heat and the staff is very rude .and they put a camera up in the boys bathroom that's against the law. This place needs new management. Just because we are homeless doesn't mean we don't have feelings.we are people too and deserve to be treated with respect. 💯💯

It's clean, a place to lay your head, shower, wash your clothes, and eat 2 meals a day. The only problem is one of the staff members has a nasty attitude and acts like a drill sergeant. The food is not always the best but it's something to eat. Better than being on the streets though.

I asked the people if anyone could help out for the winter. So many people helped. It's setting was great 👍 the people was warm out of the cold. The place was clean. It was a lot of people who need the help. Just because they are homeless doesn't mean they aren't human Amen
