This is a well organized social service organization whose mission is to help individuals and families that need help/assistance in the area. From parenting to housing, give them a call! If they are unable to assist you they can usually put you in contact with another organization or person who can help!

WVFR is a lifesaver of a community safety net. They know what is what and where to find it quickly and professionally. Years ago the used to do community events like mushroom identification which was a blast. They also have "family fun nights" where families can go to grab some free (healthy!) Food and do activities with other families in the area. Everything that they do would take me paragraphs to write out but I can summarize with: if you have a need, they can help. If they can't, they know who can.

I had a meeting there so spent an afternoon in the building… nice conference rooms clean bathrooms friendly receptionist! And if you are into thrift stores there are quite a few good ones nearby!
