Love this non profit agency! They made me feel safe welcome. As well as giving me an opportunity to help others and provide resources for the homeless guests we served this season. With the new Lebanon season shelters grand opening. Thank you to the Haven! Your the best 🙂 they helped us making a camping smteio possible qith donating gear. As well as gave me some very useful trainings qhilw employed.

So I called the upper valley Haven today to get food delivered due to the fact that I have a very bad neck injury to where I can't get out of the bed they want me to either walk up or have someone come get it I have nobody they will not deliver including to the homeless people that live in areas that they can't come and get it this is wrong and they need to do a better job and stop having staff lie about not having people available to speak to whenever I ask for a supervisor I'm told there's no one there either they need to do a better job or you all need to stop and stop lying to the homeless and stop offering help if you can't help people

The maintenance guy here (Scott Daniels) threatened a staff member with physical violence but got away with it because everyone says he would never do that and they know him so well and trust he'd never do that. The staff member who scot harassed then got pressured to resign while Scott Daniels got no discipline. They also just decided not to give the employee they fired his retirement.

Volunteered here a little while ago. The staff here has it together. Knowledgeable and caring. An asset to the Upper Valley. Well done people keep up the great work

What a great service you offer and so appreciated. Everyone is so pleasant and welcoming. So thankful for all the companies that donate food and goods to help relieve some pressures of inflation that many of us are experiencing these days.

I would like to take the time to thank the Upper Valley Haven for their service towards myself and others in the community. I recently found myself in a crisis financially and turned to the Upper Valley Haven for assistance. They provided me with a pair of winter boots for the winter to keep my feet warm and dry for the cold season. They filled my fridge with fresh produce and my cupboards with canned goods, noodles and provided me with lunches/sandwiches that I could take to work. Staff at the Upper Valley Haven prepared everything and even brought it to my vehicle. All of them were very nice to me and made me feel welcome with non judgemental approach. When I went there I saw a veteran arrive for help, a mother and daughter, a family and solo individuals. I became more grateful for the services Vermont offers. The thought came to mind what a blessing it is to be able to give then it is to receive. How rewarding that is to someones soul. The thought that days before me going to the Haven I was crying to god asking him how am I going to eat and worrying about my feet in the snow to come, not realizing he already had a solution.
I am grateful beyond words and reminded that every little bit helps.

This place has a great food shelf program, that is similar to grocery shopping and is super intuitive! Bread is here daily too for folks to enjoy, with coffee and other goodies. Great for people that need resources and a helping hand while down on their luck, or just need a bit of extra food/help.
