The worst of all places you could possibly be would be here. My daughter has a heart condition and she is not able to be in extreme weather I explain that to the staff here multiple times our first night here our room was 102° and they gave us a broken fan and told us there was nothing they could do while other families had ACs not to mention they gave us a little tiny fan along with the broken one. Not to mention the main purpose here is to develop some sort of permanent housing and helping out the homeless with what they need that is not the case whatsoever you get treated like you’re in prison and the staff is very rude and disrespectful. Not to mention you have no privacy here whatsoever your audio and video recorded every step that you take and you are not allowed out of your room past 7 o’clock at night regardless whether you have to go to the bathroom get a drink food or anything it does not matter. We asked for an AC after doctors had called and They still denied us it. The funding that they get federally to feed families goes right into the own staffs mouths. While other families suffer and don’t even have the correct things that they are supposed to be supplying. We were moving all of our stuff in on a 90° day and the staff stopped us and told us we had to keep our clothes and stuff outside overnight for it to be evaluated. My daughter‘s bathtub that I brought a staff member had said that it couldn’t be here now what do they expect me to wash my 3 month old daughter in. They would be the first ones to call DCYF if we were not giving our daughter the proper care that she needs. But yet they wouldn’t let us have the stuff she needed for her baths they told us specifically that bins were not allowed but other families have bins and other shorts of stuff. Not to mention they were telling us what we could and couldn’t eat they kept giving us water and Gatorade meanwhile they had apple juice and other sorts of drinks that the staff was drinking I couldn’t tell you how many numerous times we had to ask for a couple of drinks when they get funded to provide us with drinks and food and stuff like that they tell you to let them know what you need. You have to ask upon hours and hours just to get what you need horrible experience all the way around if you need a homeless shelter I would not recommend this one.
