Today I had the honor and privilege to volunteer/participate in preparing groceries for the beautiful families in the community.

The team onsite worked harmoniously and with true heart felt compassion to make sure the families they supported got what they needed and were treated with care, love, dignity and respect.

I am so grateful that I found them. There is power in numbers. The families may have left with items they needed but I also left with something. Helping others navigate challenging times is truly food for the soul. It is nourishment that can’t be bought. Giving of your most valuable commodity (time) it’s a powerful uplifting soul soothing gift that is available to anyone who looks for a need to fill.

Thank you to this amazing team! I may not have much but I have time to help others. I’ll be back.

HELP provides for children that experience food insecurity. We deliver 25000 HelpSnackz each month to school districts all over the Phoenix area so children have something healthy for the evening when many aren’t guaranteed dinner. I absolutely love and support this organization!

Dawn Marie, Michael and Laurie from HELP have been Angel's whenever we have needed them at BGHS. They have been providing us snack packs all year and last year as well for our homeless population. Whenever we have a special circumstance with a homeless adolescent, they are there to help. Dawn Marie spent an enormous amount of time trying to help one of our 18 year olds find a place to live before he enters a more permanent housing situation.. I struck out trying to find this 18 year old young man housing after calling numerous places around The Valley. It is very difficult for the 18 and older male population to find housing right away. Somehow our Angel's at HELP were able to support him with food gift cards, toiletries and a safe hotel room for the couple of weeks he needed. Thank you so very much for all you do!! Much appreciated.
