I had the privilege to go to Agua Prieta and volunteer with one of their programs Bright Futures they focus helping young girls in the community achieve their academic and career goals despite their upbringing. It was such a great experience I can’t wait to go back next spring and help this amazing non profit organization!

I encourage anyone that has a serving heart to attend one of the volunteer trips it will change you life!

Rancho Feliz was one of the most wonderful and humbling experiences I have ever had. The volunteer coordinators have put together a flawless system to get you from anywhere in the country to just across the Mexican border with ease. When you arrive, they welcome you to a beautiful hacienda that has dormitory-style and private rooms for you to stay in with your group. They have wonderful chefs, clean accommodations, and the most kind-hearted staff. They make serving the community easy by providing quick transportation to the worksites and by having well-trained contractors on site to lead the projects. I will be back as soon as I can to serve with this exceptional organization again.

Rancho Feliz is an fantastic organization dedicated to enriching the community of Agua Prieta, Mexico through shelter and education. I had the opportunity to volunteer with Ranch Feliz this October as part of the Bright Futures program which focuses on education for high school girls. I was shocked to learn 70% of Mexican women experience trauma and 50% of girls in towns like Agua Prieta drop out of primary school. The work Rancho Feliz does for the Bright Futures program extends far beyond financial support, Rancho Feliz is fully invested in the girls well being, success, and goes above and beyond to provide support in all areas of their life. I felt fortunate and proud to be a part of it. We also toured the Vecinos neighborhood and a Highly home, which further demonstrated the positive and lasting impact this organization has on the community. The dedication of the Rancho Feliz team both on the US and Mexico side was awe inspiring and experiencing the program first hand was incredibly sobering and inspiring. On a less personal note, there was great communication and coordination prior to the trip to answer all my questions and give me clear expectations and the accommodations and food provided for the volunteers was outstanding. I couldn't speak more highly of Rancho Feliz and am looking forward to be another opportunity to volunteer.

I had the absolute privilege to come to Rancho Feliz for a weekend in January. It was a huge learning experience and I was able to see first hand the impact that was being made on the people in Agua Prieta. This experience is something that I highly recommend when you are looking for a meaningful way to give back.
