I’ve been visiting my Dad at Mission View since 2018. To be honest, I’ve always left heavy hearted and concerned that he just sits in a dark room on the daily.

Today was a completely different, all around positive experience with staff Suzette!! It was beautiful to see her at work! She did deep breathing, stretches, and a fun game with the residents. I could see the connection she had with everyone. ✨ She made it inclusive and fun for everyone! I observed her multitask to take care of the numerous needs that came up, all while engaging the group. It was truly beautiful. I had such a nice time!!

I hope she sees this message and I hope she knows how much she warmed my heart 💛 thank you for making life more bright for so many residents. That was SO cool. What a blessing you are to Mission View Health Center!

I came debilitated and a chronic UTI. Got rid of that and picked up new bug from dirty room and bathroom not being cleaned well. Cannot recommend this place. Staff too busy to be bothered with even getting bathroom sanitized each day. Food is Google and always wrong for diabetics even after talking to dietician and kitchen supervisor. Steer clear of this place.

Today is been 1 month since I got here! Got here on a wheelchair after spending 2 months in the hospital, and today, been my last day, I get to walk again without the need of a wheelchair!! The staff has been incredible…Drs., nurses, CNAs, the physical therapists helped me immensely, and thanks to the cooks for adjusting to my vegan diet!!!!

I had to go to Mission View after a big multiple sclerosis flare left me paralyzed on one side. It was my first time in a care center and I really had a prejudice against all nursing homes - which was changed completely by my experience at Mission View. The staff for the most part was great. Competent and kind. Some of them were like angels on Earth, who did the job so graciously despite working with cranky people to take care of their physical needs and make them comfortable, and to keep us all active. I'm only in my 50s and hope to not have to go back ever, or at least not for 40 years or so, but if I do, I want to go to Mission View.

My husband was at Mission View Health Center for 4 days so I could be with our daughter who was having surgery. As my husband does not communicate verbally and he uses a wheelchair and has limited coordination, I had provided a detailed letter providing his usual daily schedule as well as other helpful notes related to his diet and CPAP usage. Day 2 of the stay, I received a call from staff scheduled to do a visit assessment and they remarked that other staff mentioned he seemed to only communicate with his eyes. When I asked if they had taken the time to read my note, I was told "no," so I said to please call back after they had read the detailed note. Why was an assessment taking place on day 2 of a 4 day stay instead of the first day, and why didn't some staff take the time to read the note about his needs? My husband is used to a daily shower/shave, and based on the how he looked when he returned home, it seems that the only reason he received merely one shower during his stay is because the wonderful hospice staff stopped by to provide him with a shower. When my husband came home, he had an open wound on his nose that could only be attributed to his CPAP mask being used improperly. When I viewed the online MyAir program that monitors his CPAP machine usage, the first night usage looked great. But, the next 3 nights showed that the leakage and fit of the mask were poor the entire night. I incorrectly assumed that staff would be checking on him throughout the night to be sure that the mask was on correctly. Bottom line, if your loved one is unable to communicate their needs directly and advocate for themselves, do not send them to Mission View Health Center for care. A very sad and troubling experience for our family.

Arielle is the best CNA...she is always pleasant and meticulous in her care of patients. I have observed her compassion and empathy for those in her care. She is one of those special people that choose a vocation not just a job. It's obvious that she loves her job.

My father is currently at French Hospital recovering from overdose of insulin administered, ordered by Dr. ARNOLD.
She is an 'out of control' doctor dedicated to keeping patients at facility for profits from patient insurance.
STAY AWAY !

My Dad has been here for 3 weeks and they have been phenomenal. I visited everyday so I got a very good look at everyday operations. They earned every bit of 5 stars.
