I called the Tiger Woods Foundation for a simple question, simply to find out if they have educational program for the youth in Nigeria, Africa. The staff that answered the phone interrupted me before I finished my question and told me to submit a proposal. Why proposal? " I asked." Well we don't answer any questions over the phone, you must submit a proposal of your project. I was surprised by her quick defensive reaction, and offended at her assumption that I needed money from the foundation. Hey, assuming I actually needed money, which I didn't, should she give me a benefit of the doubt that I may have a question that needs immediate response of a simple "Yes" or "No" ? Isn't she there to answer phone calls from people like me? Why should Tiger Woods maintain an office or a Foundation for that matter, if his office is not ready to speak to a caller? Aren't foundations set up for various reasons and one of which is to help people not just a tax write off? Her behavior was rude and offensive.
