30 day free housing, check-in 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm (lights out at 9 pm and turn phones in). Three meals, breakfast for residents at 6 am, lunch 12-1 pm public, supper at 5:30 pm public. Cold drinks and plenty of food provided, TV room, and friendly staff. Must be in by 8 pm every day to keep residence. Low population and not super strict. They're doing god's work, happy to be blessed.

They have some really great stuff sometimes and sometimes it's kinda hit and miss.
The only thing I didn't care for at the Lufkin Texas store is that it's a mess nothing is organized, but I can't ever figure out why because there is always several workers and the woman (Sun) whom I'm guessing is a manager , she just there she doesnt "work" and she obviously dosent *manage"anything
I'll bet that the Salvation Army doesn't bring in nowhere near the revenue that they should maybe if she put some of them workers to work and maybe she did a little work herself and manage something she could turn that store around.

Having only visited the store on one occasssion, I can only speak of my experience that time. The worker that was there that day was so inexplicably rude that it borderlined on hatefulness. Maybe she judged my appearance, being heavily tattooed, I occasionally run in to people who make snap judgements about me based on their preconceived notions about people that don't look like them. This could've been the case because there were two other patrons in the store. She was overly nice with one and the other had a look of shock on her face as a reaction to how the worker talked to me. I will NEVER be back and I will choose to donate to other charities in my area that appreciate my donation and treat people with respect. Absolutely appalling behavior. Disgusting.

I really like this thrift shop! Their items are reasonably priced unlike Goodwill. The store is always organized and clean and the employees are always friendly! They also have quiet s bit to choose from! 😊😊😊

I was standing in line to get in the food kitchen and a black woman wanted to start a fight before going in. Due to that, I think the Captain or his wife needs to monitor the people outside to keep order. I left and went to Charlie's to eat. I will never be back to the Salvation Army to eat again.
