I should've stayed in prison, at least there the co's didnt pick on you. one my buddies here got a shot for requesting milk which is on the national menu. counselors seem friendly. but some of the staff (edit now it's only 2) are constantly picking on the people here like if they aren't human anymore just cause they messed up somewhere in life. the food is good just cold and in small amounts(edit, food is now much better and warm), lunch is usually just a ham and cheese sandwich though. Most of the staff are good, but 1/4 ( edit 1/8) of them seem like power trips. I just try to avoid contact with them. Who knows maybe I'm just already institutionalized.(edit, this place is slowly improving. but the phones have been down for awhile now, I haven't call my family since christmas and it's already a week into feb.)

This was the worst experience of my life even worse than prison. Very unprofessional and rude. No help when it came to re-integrating back into society. Staff was lazy, rude, and incompetent. They made everything difficult and impossible!!

Theres alot of partiality. All staff is not on the same page. Impartial judgement, always hungry...only 1 sandwhich for lunch for grow men, decent breakfest, supper...sometimes. NO help in reintergrating into society properly. Most staff walk around...METAPHORICALLY, with bam sticks...trying to give shots for what they can, Im guessing for a pay grade. Most importantly..for a place to be named after DISMAS who was the repentant thief, and shown MERCY... There is no mercy here for those who struggle with addiction..or use cash app to send money to their kids...and if your not careful they will deny your right to WORSHIP as they did me. ALL WORKS FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE THAT BELIEVE>.,Leadership in the wrong hands is unrighteous. This Is the Judgement House.

They go out of there way to destroy any friendship or relationship they will lie to you anytime they can. if you point out a problem they will write it up, as you are concerned .this is the worst place you could possibly go if you want to get your life back on track.

I disagree with what is said about dismas . I got no help from that place and the staff are bad, I had no money to get my documents like. My birth certificate ,i.d an etc , so I sat there for two months with nothing and they didn't even bother to help. My family had to pay for all my documents. ....
