Even though the process wasn’t perfect... I was able to get help. After about 6 to 8 weeks; I was approved for rental and utilities. Unfortunately; many organizations are exhausted and as of today I am about to be homeless at the end of the month. Our Government needs to step up and help everyone. Thank goodness for nonprofit organizations like the CAP program. I finally secured a job but unfortunately we’re on the brink of another Shutdown. Hopefully Those who survive this pandemic ? can find peace ☮️ We need change.

I must say that my experience over the last few months have not been good. I currently submitted an application for rental assistance. I emailed, faxed and physically delivered my application to the office in June and was told I would get a call. No call. I then called into the office twice left my name and number I was told someone would give me a call still no call. I physically went back to the office in July, August and September asking for an update. I Left my name and number and was told someone would give me a call still no call. It's been 4 months and could only imagine how many more families are still needing assistance and still have not received a call.

I'm homeless now. Thanks. 4 months of calling and emailing. 4 months of stress and getting the run around to call this and that number. 4 months of depression. I exhausted my savings. A single mother of 3 children can't even get help... I just needed a call. I just needed hope..

Waited for hours to schedule an appointment. That took all of 3 minutes. I should be able to do this online or over the phone. They should really consider online options. It would eliminate over crowding and the parking issue they have since two only have maybe 6 spots and mostly handicapped spots.

Went to get a foodbox and came out with a grocery cart full of soon to be expired fresh food, meats, and what I call scratch and dent food ( when the packaging is starting to not be packaging any more.)

Good assistance for my utility problems. Food bank usually very nice. Holiday food was high demand & ran low but it's a popular place & regular visitors seem pretty grateful for the help.
