Very nice 1 ⭐️ motel. We arrived late in town and they were quick to check us in. I called a couple of times to check reservation and the lady was very nice and helpful who answered the phone. Room was clean and updated.

Highly recommend!!! Nice new updated rooms and new air conditioners. We came here after having the worst experience with Ameristay, From the outside it looked dated, but when we came in the room it had been remodeled with new everything! The towels and the linens smelled like you did them at home. Very nice and professional. Would definitely stay here again!

Smelled clean. Nice appearance. Decent internet...kept cutting in and out. Comfy bed. Has all amenities needed. They even let me look over my room before paying for it.

I tried to look over the room over at AmeriStay but the guy was like, "no, cause I don't have anyone to remake the bed"...
First of all. All I needed to do was lift the sheets in a few spots to look. Not mess up the bed!! Second of all... got something to hide much? Plus he wanted more $$ than here.

This place has been around for as long as I've been alive (I'm 57). I was a bit apprehensive when my son in law booked this instead of the newer one in town for our dove hunt. Needless to say the rooms have been nicely updated. I actually prefer this motel over the other, newer one. (I now have stayed in both) Nice rooms, very nice management, great cleaning personnel= 5 stars for me.

The Haskell Inn is the place to go if you want to get away!!! The cell service is garbage, the WiFi barely works so you have zero contact with the outside world! It’s a little piece of Heaven for a dove hunt!

This was a little concerning when we first drove up. All concrete and blacktop courtyard, and some inside furniture sitting outside on one side of the hotel. But the room was great. Very clean, modern and well maintained. Good bed and shower. Good value. I think the was breakfast available, but it was oddly presented, so passed it up.

Shockingly bad! Staff screamed and cursed at us, also evidence of bed bugs. Spare yourself craziness and trouble and DON'T STAY HERE. Insanely unprofessional.

My husband grew up in Haskell and we took a sentimental trip back over the Christmas holiday. He was excited to stay at this staple inn. It's a bit low-grade so I wanted to check our room for cleanliness, especially bedbugs. (I used to travel half the year for work and this is an important policy to always look ahead of time. Bed bugs are an expensive problem to solve if you bring them home.) After chitchatting about old times and who currently owns the motel, the lady at the window was nice enough to let us look. It took a few minutes because I did find dried blood spots on the under sheets and had to look further for bugs, and was faced with a delima deciding with my husband what we should do. (As we weren't finding live bugs, but evidence there HAD been bugs at some point, and we didn't know what other hotels were an option in town, plus he had really wanted to stay there.) We decided to "stay friends"; thank them for letting us look, and say we might be back. We never got a chance. Within a few minutes someone called the room, a young male lackey was sent to knock on the door. As we walked through the parking lot back to the lady at the window she started yelling at us like a banshee saying we had to pay now (for the 5 minutes looking at the room) because (somehow) she "knew" we weren't going to take the room. It was so weird! (And not true.) My husband remained calm and collected, but she couldn't seem to calm down or regain any semblance of customer service. The young male lackey returned, walking up behind my husband, threatening-like in a hoodie. My husband turned to him to explain the scenario. The lackey then used an F-bomb. It was the most gangster-style, terrible service I've ever experienced. Especially considering the lady gave us permission to look, we honestly had NOT decided yet (even with evidence of bed bugs) and all of this transpired within 5 minutes. Needless to say we did not stay - we couldn't after their behavior. They made the decision for us. We ultimately felt grateful we were spared further trouble by seeing how insanely this place is run right at the beginning.

The beds are very comfortable here. Bathrooms newly renovated. However if you are sensitive to noise be aware the walls are very thin so you can hear cars starting outside your room if someone parked nearby. Also the heater unit in my room was very loud so it woke me up every time it turned on.
