My sister (Cheslea) has been part of CAMP University since close to its inception. It's her favorite part of the day and she never wants to miss "school". She has made so many friends and has learned a lot of life skills that were not taught during her time in public school. She comes home each day with a sense of accomplishment. The staff at CAMP are extremely selfless and generous. They go above and beyond for each and every kid. We don't know what we do without CAMP! We are so grateful to have such a great program in the Valley for adult special needs kids. Thank you CAMP!

In my experience, there's never a dull moment at C.A.M.P.! It's an environment where fun, things to do, and interactions with our students is priority. In working with C.A.M.P. I've seen results with the students. For instance, LeeAnn has progressed to being able to identify a color without being prompted; Job went from keeping to himself or just talking about one subject to being more verbal and hatching a sense of humor; I've seen Roxie become more receptive toward instruction than ever before. The environment at C.A.M.P. is always very uplifting. The staff has been caring and positive; they are definitely open and listening to hear how C.A.M.P. can continually be improved for students. My hope is that C.A.M.P. can gain the funding for a group home and for advanced classes in specialized subjects like art.
I have enjoyed my time being a teacher at C.A.M.P. University and recommend families of students graduating from high school to consider taking them to C.A.M.P. University.
