Historic multi service neighborhood community center in Houston's historic 3rd Ward. Programs & activities for all ages, young children to its Elders Institute of Wisdom. Clean, accommodating comfortable spaces. Full sized kitchen with dining area, open a few days each week with various vendors. Kales kitchen, 100% vegan, serves moderately priced, freshly prepared very tasty dishes Wednesdays & Thursdays.
Meeting spaces available for rental.

Nice size location. The director and staff are soooooo nice and welcoming. The events are all a learning experience. There are children of all ages. You can volunteer also. This place has been here for decades!

When you want to experience the black culture and learn more about our roots and be educated on events this is a great place to come. They also support small business and they love their community. I love coming here!
