I have been coming here for sometime now and unfortunately this church is not for me. As someone else in the reviews mentioned. They are not very welcoming. Sure there are greeters at the door and a welcome center, but as a newcomer no one directs you or includes you. The lobby area where you walk in is crowded with everyone in their own group, but no one acknowledges you. The preachings are great, but also like someone else mentioned, they take communion in groups or you can do it on your own. They don’t do it as a whole church and as a newcomer that can be off-putting and awkward as it feels that everyone has their own circle of friends already, but they don’t invite you to join. They also take communion every Sunday which I feel defeats the purpose of the true meaning. It makes it seem like just routine. I got involved in a community group in hopes of making friends and getting involved, but it was very awkward and not welcoming. Everyone in the group knew each other already and kind of put my husband and I aside. We kept going, but stopped towards the end of it because it just wasn’t christ-centered and welcoming to us. Lastly, their kids ministry has let me down. I have a very happy and calm baby but I noticed that they were neglecting him in the nursery and not giving him attention so that other (more needy) babies could get attention. They don’t have a 1 to 1 ratio. So if they have a lot of babies, unfortunately, some are left alone in a corner. I found my child alone on the floor and that does not sit well with me whatsoever. That was my last and final straw and I will not be coming back to this church that I have wholeheartedly given a million opportunities to. I wanted to truly love it and get involved but community is lacking here. They are growing exponentially fast and I don’t think they know how to handle/manage their growth. Hope for nothing but the best but it is time to move on.

I only went one time but I knew One Life wasn’t for me. Though those holding the door said good morning, there was no one who greeted those who came in especially first time visitors. The lobby was crowded and of course I knew no one.. so I headed to the “auditorium”( I prefer sanctuary but that’s me )
I sat in back still no one came to talk or to greet.. And service began. Loved that that the worship team was a mix of young and older.. great spirits of worship . But during the quieter parts as I was engaging.. an usher walks by and yells by my ear “there’s one over here” regarding seats for late comers.. I got startled and then went back to it.. then communion happened.. they don’t do communion as a whole but in groups.. in front of me I had a man with his teens and beside me a married couple.. everyone was grouped together but I just took my communion me and the Lord.. not as community. I felt awkward.. as I could do that at home. They are building a new building so the teaching on giving was heavy handed.. The 10 percent wasn’t enough.. (I believe we owe God 100 percent but not for buildings.. especially when plunder in the OT was used for the buildings ) my tithe was always going towards helping pay the pastors and any people that needed help.. I was a bit turned off by the pastor saying that we aren’t giving enough for whatever reason when we should give from our hearts not from being shamed into it.
next the sermon on Love was really good! Just wish that what Gods love looks like in all its forms were taught. We as the church do not agree on this much because teaching isn’t thorough on what it looks like to love others.. which includes correction and accountability.
I went to visitors center and did explain some of these issues and a couple of those serving there were sweet and engaged but a few of them walked away.. i was also told that I should have joined in on my own in those communion groups but that’s odd for a visitor.. the members should be counseled to ask those around them to join.. and the ushers should be counseled to be mindful during the worship portion of those around them..I loved Haley (sp) at the visitors center. What a genuine young lady! I did tell her I would come back however the church never answered some questions I had so I’ve moved on to look for others churches to plant in. It was a bit too social club for me. But blessings to them!!

This is my old home church from when I lived in the area, but I love coming back every time I'm visiting the area. They're really friendly, family and community oriented, they don't want to be a church where you come to worship on Sunday and then don't have any involvement or fellowship until the next Sunday. People want to be involved in each other's lives and some of the best Kingdom friendships I made during my time here, was due to joining one of the many weekly community small groups that meets in people's homes and you're sure to find one of them located near you. Jesus-centered and gospel-based.

So there is not a 9 AM and the church seems condemned. Hope everyone is alright.

I moved to the area in 2018 and I have gone to a handful of churches trying to find the one that made me feel close to God. I Googled churches and asked God to take the wheel. He took me to OneLife Church and I couldn't have chosen a better place of worship. I wish I could give all the stars in the sky but Google only allows me to give a 5 star review 💖

My husband and I are thrilled to have found OneLife and have only been three times, but we already joined a community group and want to serve in many areas of ministry! This is home and you feel it immediately. I think so far my favorite part (and its hard to pick one) is that the service isn’t rushed! Most churches have to get you out at a certain time and the second the pastor ends in a prayer it’s over. Not here. I adore how they worship at the end, inviting you to stay and worship, to pray, and minister to others. They don’t squash what the spirit is doing , they welcome Him even longer. The Spirit of God dwells here and you can tell in Worship, in sound doctrine, and in the community. We look forward to growing with this church!
