Food pantry. The money is so tight we cant afford to waste food, hense we come to the food pantry here. We could not be more grateful. However, on January 2nd, 2025, yesterday, someone thought it was ok to put a whole raw chicken in with the potato in the white potato sack that says potato. This is not a transparent bag. It is a giant potato bag that says in big print, says POTATO. So I come home, thinking we'll have a big potato meal over the weekend for the family. Now I come to realize the whole chicken was there thawed and leaking all over my pantry. All the food I had is gone. This is so wrong. Now we have no food to eat. THIS IS WRONG.

The employees were so loving and handled the community and Lady Lauren's Community service group members with such grace. It was an humbling experience. Our kids collected and delivered over 5,000 non perishables for the pantry!! To God be the glory!!

I come here with my mother when we are needing assistance. The last time was back in April. So we came here on Thursday through their food drive thru. Haven't been here in a while, I told one of the volunteers that I misplaced my card apologizing for it. He threw a tantrum stomping the ground. Asking me "Do you know how long and hard it is for us to look up your information online?" While it took him less than a minute to find me in his system. I told him that I used to use the online sign up before they went to cards, he said they haven't used the system in 3 years, which isn't true. During one of their weekend events a while back I used it and showed one of the younger volunteers and they took the information from there. He then chastised me by saying you should take a picture right now of this card so you can have it in case you lose it again. I proceed to do that as he signals me to move up in the line when he told me to take the photo first. If I really didn't need the help I would've driven away.

Even when power is out in most of the area you can bet they've got their bright-as-hell sign on, blinding drivers well into the night.
