They've helped me last year and this year. Patients is key. They've helped me and my family, even through the misunderstanding I had. Ms Victoria took care of me and streamlined the process with the requested documents. I ask that you be patient as things don't move quickly due to the process. God bless.....

After utter frustration of trying to get Social Security info on the phone, I drove 15 miles to the office to talk in person. Upon arriving & asking directions to the correct office , I was handed printed directions to a place 20 miles from where I was ?! After explaining I drove here bc it was listed as a SS office online, I was told, “Yes ma’am, that’s why we have these directions printed “ Really

I applied for various kinds of assistance including utility assistance and home repair assistance and waited for years - nothing! My house was foreclosed on because we could not get legal aid. Fort Bend County does not take care of storm victims or victims of crime. Fort Bend County Social Services do not provide any service. They are more likely to push the poor deeper into poverty, separating families permanently and wrecking lives.

I applied for assistance submitted all my personal information they reached out to my landlord then when we heard nothing back I called no answer went in person and was told the department handling rental assistance is no longer there and they had no way to contact them . They had all my personal information and no where to be found after they promised I had been approved for rental assistance. I think they got the money and just left. I just want my person information back. This is so horrible to do to someone and the office couldn’t provide any information.

These people give you the run around about stupid receipts on how u Exhaust your income hell if I need help I need help. They really don't help no one they just give you the run around.

I have been calling them 10x a day for this past two weeks, I wanted to get assistant with my rent , not one person has answered or called back. Idk if the business is close or still open, but if it is open there are people there that are desperately in need for help and we’re referred to you guys in hope someone will answer. But no , I have been trying Monday to Friday all day these past two weeks. Not one person has picked up.

I applied for the COVID rental assistance Cares program in June to have my rent and light bill paid. I never heard a word back. After calling numerous times for several days I was able to get a lady Veronica to help me. By August, they had eventually mailed out 3 rent payments for $1000 each and light bills for those months as well totaling about $500. I did reapply for 3 additional months of assistance and since October they have been telling me it has been submitted, yet no more payments have gone out. I appreciate what they’ve done because without it I would definitely be lost. I just feel that with it being 3 days for 2021 that all the payments should have been mailed out by now. At this point, I spoke to someone 3 weeks ago and nothing has happened. I know it’s government assistance but to be 3 months behind on payments that are to help people not get evicted is frustrating. I’m going to continue to contact them because they did help before but now I’m getting worried about getting kicked out my place due to non payments.
