Great place to let kids run off extra energy. The playground is well designed and has something for everyone. I do wish it was shaded tho. Splash pad is a hit too. I also love walking the huge park.

Wow. I was visiting from Out if state and it was so hot I needed to find somewhere my 3 yr old could get some energy out but not over heat. I found this park on google maps and wow! It’s beautiful! Free splash pad and a huge park. Lots of fields. Although it was too hot to play at the park my child let me know how impressed he was. Great for children and families open 6am-11pm. Free.

It was not my cup of tea. Filled with unsavory types. My husband and I were trying to walk on the path. There was a group of trashy types talking very loudly and blocking the trail. I feel like they were just trying to start something with someone. My husband and I saw a wagon stroller get stolen right in front of us.

My family and I just moved here from Chicago and this park has blown us away! Our kids had so much fun and are forever asking us when we are going back. The park is clean and the people are friendly. They also have a splash pad which is our son's favorite part. It is suitable for kids of all ages too.
