We came here to look for affordable furniture. Left unhappy without any furniture.

I've visited both Plano locations years ago and they were wonderful. Their stuff were reasonably priced and even though they allowed haggling (negotiating), I almost never had to haggle as they were reasonably priced. For instance, a like-new sectional couch for $250. Even their employees were friendly and I felt like I was visiting a friendly community garage sale.

This visit, we saw something we liked and it had no price tag. When we asked someone how much it cost, she said she would check and let me know. She later came out and just slapped a price tag on it then walked away without saying anything. Price tag? Over $200 for furniture that looked faded with outlines of things that were left on it and it wasn't even clean. We couldn't even negotiate a lower price. We proceeded to check out the other furniture. A lot of their furniture looked old, something you would find from "All In The Family" TV show. Yet, they were priced a lot higher than the brand new better quality stuff you can buy elsewhere.

Oh, all prices are firm... no haggling?

Even their employees don't look like they enjoy working there.

We ended up buying something much better online brand new for less.

Don't think we'll be visiting this play again anytime soon.

You’re in a thrift store atmosphere selling photos for $500-$750 is absurd. They are crappy frames and God only knows if they’re something original. The furniture is the price is close to what you would buy at a store. This place used to be fun and had some cute stuff. It has really gone downhill. All the nice things have been overpriced beyond anybody’s Affordability.

I just tried to call to make a donation but got immediately hung up on. Used to love the restore. I loved supporting the cause and they had great deals. Prices have been absurdly high though. I keep coming back hoping they will have corrected the pricing but it's been years now. It's sad but i guess it's time to move on. 🙁
I hope they figure it out. I hate to see such a good cause go down the drain.

Always different stuff. They make sure to clean it up before they put it out on the floor. I have even seen them remove paint from a dining table to make it more appealing. Really nice people to shop with and the prices are good too.

We move to McKinney nearly twelve years ago and have consistently checked the Restore for products to supplement our various remodels. Several houses later, we are very satisfied.

You need to visit frequently to patch good deals because other shoppers will them before you. My top items include stained glass lamps, antique furniture (know how to pick selected pieces - rare find) and vintage tools.

Prices have a tiered markdowns system by color. If you don't like the price then wait a few days. At that point, don't be afraid to haggle.

This is a great place to find very unique and amazing things. If you are open to what you just find, this place is for you. We make several trips to just see what they have.

My husband and I have shopped here for years. The staff is friendly and we’ve found some awesome deals on a variety of things.
Helping our neighbors is the icing on the cake.

I drove towards the Receiving Door to donate a good gas dryer. When I approached the drive, there was an older man sitting in a “Habitat for Humanity” box truck blocking the drive. He was eating an apple. I lightly bumped the horn to get his attention. I waited for him to see me and move, but that didn’t happen.

Again I lightly bumped my horn to get his attention. He looked right at me and continued eating his apple. He wasn’t budging and didn’t care that he was blocking the drive.

I approached very slowly and moved my mirror in trying to get my vehicle by. I bumped the horn again. He just watched me. He never moved. I squeezed by.

I parked and walked in to find someone to help me unload the dryer. I found a woman who called to get a man to help us unload the dryer. A man came walking by after about 10 minutes. She asked if he would help. He gladly said Yes and lowered my tailgate.

The older man with the apple hopped out of his box truck with his apple still in hand and angrily told the man not to help us, that “she needs to learn.” He was demanding, hateful, unashamed of making a hostile environment for everyone.

If he behaves like that on property, he is certainly worse when he is picking up things at peoples houses. I can only imagine how poorly he treats his helper. He probably has road rage and expresses his entitlement and control wherever he goes. He shouldn’t be trusted with any authority at all. Certainly not over people. He is a very angry man.

The woman who was trying to find help to unload the dryer, was upset and shaken. She didn’t deserve that. Nor did the helper. Nor did I.
