Since my favorite and best loved Goodwill closed in Commerce, I have to travel to get a thrift fix. No other area store is as nice or has as good items as my local store stocked. But, out of Paris, Greenville and Sulphur Springs, this location (at SS) is the better experience. I only shop every now and then but can usually find something of interest. I prefer to visit on Sundays for the 99cent deals because otherwise the prices are pretty high on many things. For example, I picked up 3 running shorts for 99cents each but their normal tagged price was $7.99 EACH. Thats $24 for 3 pairs of used shorts. I'm happy with 99cents but no way would I pay $24 no matter the "brand" on the tag. For comparison, you can pick up a name brand purse in like new condition for $7-10 there which, depending on brand, can be very reasonable. My husband says they have less men's items than our previous local store but all the area stores are very disappointing in that area. It doesn't top my all time favorite location but it's definitely not the worst and in my opinion worth the stop to check out.

Other:
--Nice employee interaction. I haven't had any issues in my encounters
--Good amount of parking
--Clean store
--Has dressing rooms
--Has a public bathroom
--Sundays are 99cent deals

The staff were friendly, the prices were low, and the drop off in the back was super easy. If you’re looking for some cheap gear or to drop off some unneeded items, this is your spot. Enjoy/disfruten! 🔥💪🏽😎

This Sulphur Springs location was recently remodeled. Unfortunately they now have 80% less Men’s clothing than before.

It was one of my favorites locations to check for name brand and gently used quality clothing at a fraction of the price. Now, I might as well not even look until I hear that things are different.
The store itself is a bit unorganized compared to before. I’m not sure what all changed except for the layout, but it wasn’t for the better.

The staff is nice, the organisation is good, restroom so noticeable it stays clean, and the awesomeness was when we turned the corner (right side, in back, go left)- it felt like walking into another store 🙂

This used to be such a great location, friendly staff (rosanna in particular is a sweetheart, still is) and great prices. But oh no, not any more. Since their remodal (and may I add every goodwill in the area since they got a remodal)has turned out to be awful! Their assistant manager in Sulpher Springs is a jerk. She made no eye contact and no smile, when i said thank you ma'am she just scowled. She also gives an attitude if you dont round up. She gives off a vibe that she thinks you are trying to take advantage. Also the racks are full of staines and holes in the clothes. When you point it out anything wrong with an article they dismiss it. And oh they will never discount...even for a pair of boots that the sole is coming off. Sadly goodwilling is not what it used to be in NorthEast Texas. Between Paris, Sulpher Springs and Mount pleasent the upgraded remodal has been the worst thing that happened to them.

The workers here are all very kind and seem to love their job. It's more of a family than a company. It's always very clean and well organized as well as products are easy to find. Everything is easily accessible and looked threw/at comfortably.

Very well organized clothing section. Organized by style, size and color, I've never been in another Goodwill so well organized and clean in appearance. In addition to selling donated items they also had new items near the check-out counter for very good prices, most of which were kitchen items like cookware. I'll definitely be going back when I have more time to look around the entire store since I was in a rush 10/12 when I was there.

Sign on the door - Must have on a mask to enter - some employees and customers are not wearing a mask and employee at the register who was not wearing a mask was complaining and said she just couldn’t. Won’t be back. If you’re not going to enforce at least for employees, just take the sign down - it’s pointless. Have shopped this store for 2 1/2 years since moving to the area, it is always neat and clean and employees offer great customer service. However, this is inexcusable.
