I joined this church a little over two years ago, coming from a background of 60+ years as a Southern Baptist. In those two years, I have been fed nothing but rock-solid theology from our two wonderful pastors. This has made me into "good soil," in which the goodness and grace of God has begun to grow and grow until my heart is overflowing with His love! I have never been happier in a church setting, and I feel more alive than I ever have! Praise God for Living Word Lutheran Church and her pastors and leaders!

Living Word is a true blessing in my life. The pastors truly shepherd the congregation, and they make sure everyone who walks through the door knows they are loved by God. This leadership carries down to the members--there is such kindness and compassion from every person you meet. And most importantly, the church follows and believes every word of the doctrine. Everything is backed with The Word--chapter and verse.
The church is not, however, just words. There are multiple opportunities to help others through all types of mission work from international travel to packing school lunches after church--there is something for every member.
If you are seeking a church home, I strongly suggest Living Word.

At Living Word Lutheran we are blessed to have 2 awesome Pastors that bring the Word of God ever Sunday and more. The congregation is a warm family oriented group of God's people. Caring about each other. We pray together and have fun together.

I have been a member of Living Word Lutheran Church for about 24 years and I never stop learning. What I love the most is all teachings are based on "Let the Bible interpret the Bible". Many teachers may make reference to a Bible verse and then say something like "what this means is...." in which case they tell you what THEY believe the passage means. At Living Word when there is reference to a passage the Pastor may ask "What does this mean?" Then he or she will ask you to turn to (Book, Chapter, Verse) where the Bible answers the question "What does this mean?" You can't refute the definition of what something means when it comes from the Word of God.

Having been at Living Word for some time now I can confidently say this is a great church. The sermons are great and the community is welcoming and open. The congregation is not too large with about 125 to 175 per service and their are two services on Sunday. There is also a youth pastor with some great activities to keep your kids very busy and engaged. Sunday School is between Early service and late service and runs from 10 to 10:45. Participated in a Feed the Hungry event last Saturday. What a terrific and easy way to help others. This is such a friendly and welcoming group of people and we all had fun filling, weighing, sealing, and packing those meal bags. Love that our meager 2 hours of effort resulted in 20,000 meals!!

Living Word has been a supportive church family that is Biblically based and strengthens our faith in Jesus Christ. We have been members since 2002. In a world that can be tumultuous and difficult, Living word keeps me anchored in God’s word and reminds me of the sacrifices that He made for us. My church home, Living Word, is truly my place of peace, growth in my faith , kindness, love, and giving back.
