I want to send out a special thank you!!!! to Ms McKenna that works with the grace relief community you are so awesome! And I am thankful for you and a program like this that exists!!
Moving from another state to Texas only bringing my clothes with me , going through a transition to find me a nice apartment for me and my 10 year old son , McKenna made it all happen ! She asked me ,what exactly was I looking for ...and with everything I told her she made it all happen!!!! 😭❤️ Found me a beautiful safe place to stay for me and my son (and she really moves fast 🫶🏽)and helped me get in right before the snowy weather that was coming in two days before!! 🤗😭❤️
Helped me get beds for me and my 10 year old son! 😭
And furniture so my place could feel like a real home! And they set everything up and put everything together..i am soooo thankful for McKenna and the team (the church ) that helped to make my place feel cozy and homie ..I feel truly Blessed 🙏🏽😭 God bless you all ! And again thank you

I always enjoy donating to GRACE. The people who work there have always been so kind. I went there last week and it was totally remodeled. I talked to Miss Sandy about the new look. It was a great decision and I can’t even imagine how hard it was. She said they never closed the store, but had to partition off the children’s section. Great job, Sandy! I’m sure you had some wonderful help, but the job had to have a great leader with you!

I usually have really good things to say about this place, but my previous experience has been terrible. It already takes a great deal of pride and need to come into these places so if you have to you must be in need. One of the younger Hispanic girls is very rude, I usually see how she handles other in there and the one time I asked her a question she was very rude to me as well. Briana the manager and the new director are not helpful. Instead of helping they send out dated resources that they haven’t even fact checked to see if they are still active. The case manager Yvette was going on and one about how the new director is making all type of changes making it harder to be seen and get resources. The only thing they willing to help with is the food pantry and some days they don’t even have food. I feel like there should be people working here who actually have a God spirit and want to help. The people who currently work here act and look burnt out and don’t really wanna help just getting a pay check. Either this place needs to be closed down or re-staffed

Only pretending their helping,.. They require All personal information straight violate you, to humiliate and give u crumbs. All help isn't help. They play like their helping to get those tax write offs. Just Helping the ones that look like them😉. On the front page of the application they ask u don't get rude or offensive with the staff. Well, after they finished my pap smear "the Help" I received. Really didn't help me at all. Still on the Hamster Wheel, so thank you so much Grace Bare Relief Services

Great location but I had a bad experience with Connie and wasn’t pleased. She was easily frustrated and rude over the phone when dealing with my case. I’ve been nothing but nice to her and even tried to call back to apologize for my landlord situation but she hung up on me twice and I missed the Christmas cottage sign up. Other then that nice people at the front

Rental assistance is only if a three-day notice is given. Under Texas law, landlords can and often will evict even if full payment is made.

Don't waste your time with these phony Christians.

I usually enjoy going to Grace to shop. However, BE AWARE!!!
This time I was moving and needed to donate some large items and scheduled a pick up from Grace.
They outsourced the pick up to a "Junk Removal" company which resulted in a $400 fee for "donating" a large beautiful bedroom set and a large sturdy entertainment center.
Never again will I conduct any sort of business with this establishment. It is outrageous that I had to pay $400 to "donate!!" I know local "junk removers" that would have charged WAAAAAYYYYY less and I should have been informed of this policy or procedure prior to day of pick up.
