My brother has been in this program since he was 4 years old. He is 11 now and on his way to getting his black belt in the martial arts area of this program. It has been a great influence on him. Sensei Henderson has a lot of patience and is very understanding when it comes to his student’s needs. He genuinely believes in these kids. The instructors that work with him have those same characteristics that make this program successful.

I have been attending sessions for a little under a year. I joined as a hobby and to lose a little weight.

While in class I have been able to observe Sensei Henderson work remarkably well with his students. He is entertaining and knows how to connect with the kids. His games and quizzes really work to teach students essentials of safety every parent would want their child to know.

I have been lucky to find a community and a family with my piers at DYS. I can’t wait to see you there!

Great program! The instructors are awesome with kids. I have 2 kids that have been going for about a year now and I have definitely seen their confidence grow. They both have their orange belts now and even at 6 and 7 years old they don’t plan on stopping

My grandchildren have been involved with DYS for over 4 years and they love it! Both dance and karate classes are well organized and patient leadership 🤗 for ages 4 and up 👍.
