I was really surprised that for a CHRISTIAN center how the people who work and volunteer here are.
When I called originally, I was literally screamed at on the phone that I needed to bring a bill when I asked her to repeat what she said. She was in a horribly sour mood when she answered the phone in the first place. I went in and at no point did the woman say these things are heavy so if you aren't able to lift bring a basket that you can pull or push. Or bring someone to help you. They ended up giving me a rope to pull and then warned me "it's heavy" as I had to process parking lot to my car. I'm now calling my eyes out because 1. My basket fell over and everyone including volunteers literally just stared at me and 2. M so afraid my 23 well old baby is going to come too early. I wanted to leave the stuff when I realized it was too heavy but I have other children and we needed food. If you claim you are part of the church, act like it. I'm glad that y'all have such wonderful reviews and that I'm the only one with a negative but you still left your testimony on me and my 4 children in the car watching everything happen. My 9 year old was the only one who asked for help when he realized no one was going to help when the valley fell over. Every one for themselves, I guess. Welcome to Texas.

Everything's great other than some of the new requirements to get food. Requiring an ID and car insurance or a bill in your name. There are homeless people or people that have lost everything and had to start over trying to get ID and so on. Some people have it way harder than others trying to aquire an ID

Some of the staff there is vdry nice but they havd one lady that thinks she owns the place. Very Rude and i am sure you all know who i am talking about
