My wife Carol and I are part of the recovery community in San Antonio since 1985. We became aware of Pay It Forward Ministries in 2012. After researching what they do and how well they do it, we made a decision to support Pay It Forward with a monthly draft/gift.
Pay It Forward plays a vital and compassionate role in the Texas recovery landscape. We have seen them help make transitions to "normal life" for families and individuals for 5+ years now.
We just visited their offices two weeks ago, and we are impressed as ever with this excellent team and their hearts of compassion for those in recovery.

I've never had to make use of their services which are quite extensive for sober living. they offer you really nice comfortable rooms and entertainment and appliances like refrigerators and let you bring in your own food unlike the other members of Haven. they have real nice relaxing furniture and you work while your there and pay a pitence for the facilities a great deal for someone usually drunk or high on the streets where it's terrible cold and dangerous. when your ready to leave after you got a job and some housing well then it bovoyague

This is one of my charities of choice. I love that Pay it Forward provides a bridge for those coming out of treatment back into the community. What they do helps to fill a gap and increases success, providing a safe place, ongoing accountability and opportunity to those who are willing to do the work it takes to get better and succeed.
