This was even more than I expected. I thought it was just a cross, but I was wrong. I am so happy that I was wrong. To see the Last Supper, the Stations of the Cross, the men on the crosses, the cave where Jesus was buried and resurrected, and a beautiful fountain was truly a beautiful and humbling experience.

This place NEEDS TO BE ON EVERYONES BUCKET LIST !! It’s so beyond peaceful out here !!! I can’t decide which area is the BEST … Jesus’s table , the tomb , the gallery 😍 , the big cross itself or the stations of the cross … wait , it’s the water fountain at night with the Jesus statue and the open view of the stars at night 😍🥰🫶🙏🏼🫶🥰😍 stay blessed… and keep your relationship with God and Jesus beautiful & protected 🫶

This is a great stop and definitely worth it if you’re on the way. I will say we did have a hard time finding a way to get in but that was probably just us. Also they have bathrooms and a gift shop which might be the prettiest one I’ve ever seen from a religious monument/temple.

This is also a wonderful place to walk around quietly and pray. Also you can snap pictures but always be respectful. No standing or messing with the statues!

If you pass by this place and do not stop you have missed so very much! Please stop and see the grounds and go inside the amazing gift shop. The 12 stations of the cross are unbelievable and then there is the last supper, Calvary and a replica of the shroud of Turin. This is a must see each time we travel I-40 past Amarillo. The story of how and why this was built is inspiring

My husband and I, we always stop here. Never just pass by. It's worth a 10-hour trip. I wish I could experience an Easter Sunday there. People from all over the world gather for Sunrise Services. I love book store/gift shop.

Pretty spectacular cross that is HUGE. I'm not religious at all but it's definitely worth a stop if you're passing by.

Wow, what an amazing spot! When you walk onto the grounds, you can feel that prayer upon prayer has gone up. It's sort of weird to me to build this masterpiece in the middle of nowhere, but I do think there is something quite amazing happening. I can only imagine all the drivers that are randomly blessed by a stop. This is an amazing meditation point where you can walk through life size statues of the passion, go to the cross, even sit at the last supper. There is also a lovely fountain to sit at and pray. If you are ever cruising down the 40, make time for at least a 30 minute stop, longer if you can!

I'm not Catholic but I still appreciate that they spent the time and money on recreating the step by step Prophetic event of our LORD and Saviors sacrifice, as He made His way to the cross.
Very difficult to read each stations plaque , as it describes what is taking place.
I definitely got choked up trying to hold back my tears. How humbling , and thankful it was.

I also had the best conversation with one of the gift shop employees. He was very patient and took the time to explain His religion as well as being willing to let me respond with questions and answers according to my Christian beliefs.

Also the actual size of the cross is very impressive! It's a " must stop" along your travels.
