I’m honestly disappointed with Catholic Charities. As a Catholic myself, I expected more compassion and follow-through from an organization that prides itself on helping those in need. Several months ago, when I was in a difficult financial situation, they told me they would assist by sending a $600 payment to my mortgage company. That payment was never received. I’ve been asking them to look into it for nearly six months, and despite repeated follow-ups, I’ve received no resolution or even a proper update.

Most recently, I called again because I am still in a tough spot, and while they once again said they would get back to me, it’s been close to a month with no response. I mainly speak with Mrs. Vasquez, who often comes across as short and dismissive on the phone. When I asked if there was anyone else I could escalate the matter to or another contact I could reach out to, she said she could not provide any further information.

It’s hard to understand how a charity organization tasked with helping people in urgent situations can leave clients hanging during critical times. I don’t know if it’s poor communication, understaffing, or simply not prioritizing follow-through, but it has left me feeling neglected and frustrated. I truly hope they can reflect on how they handle people who come to them in vulnerable moments because right now, it feels like I’m being ignored when I need help the most.

I’d give them zero stars if I could. Months ago, I applied for utility assistance due to my tight financial situation, and their site said they would get back to me in five business days, but they ghosted me, and in the repeated times I called to follow up, they said they were constantly backed up with requests, and would answer them in order. It’s been nearly five months now.

I worked with them over a month, I was a homeless veteran, and I was promised help to move into an apartment in williamson cty. I saw the LOS almost everyday at the complex I was going to move in talking about other clients and saying he was trying to help them out, on my move in day the complex needed the check, find out on my move in day they (CCTX) doesn't cover Williamson county, so they pushed me to another program....my time with them was waste I hope justice prevails, these people.....smh I'll leave it at that...disgusting...

I have called multiple times. I left messages so did my husband. His case was transferred 3 times to different lawyers. I have been trying to talk to a manager but no luck. We paid for their service but we cant even get a copy of my husband application or paperwork.

These people only help brown people who are here illegally. I saw people with miss-match clothing not speaking English and getting case managers. White citizens told they could not help them.
