The ranch ain't all what it seems to parents that come visit. The staff are great but it also depends on what mood they are in. Some staff can be very petty some staff are very disrespectful to the kids there some also dont do the holds properly and end up hurting the kids. New horizons likes to cover up when staff don't do what they are supposed to. There has been many times when kids like my self has reported something the staff did that should have go them fired but the ranch covers it up and the case was closed. I'm not saying all staff r like this but most of them are. I would not recommend this place for your children. But this is all ur choice

I went to visit a resident for the weekend. The accommodations provided for guests were very comfortable. The staff seemed very protective and concerned with the well being and proper care of the children they are entrusted with. We were given the guidelines to follow during our stay and had a very good visit. Keep in mind this is a ranch in rural Texas. Mobile service is spotty at best and the best places to eat are about 30 mins away.

This is an amazing place. Me and my two brothers lived there from roughly 2013 or 14 to right after placke in 2016. I went there with some serious anger issues and other things, and I'm 18 now got adoptedsoon after I left there. I will never forget the stamp so many staff and peers made on my life there.

I lived here from 14-16 yrs old. Warren was like a dad to us all! The staff that was there when I lived there..were amazing people with hearts of gold. They truly loved us. So..shout out to Micah Teresa in the sunshine house. I remember so many of the staff..because they made such an impact on my life. I learned to rodeo at New Horizon's yall!! I competed in local rodeos. Truly did change my life. Thank you for blessing so many of us..with your time love and attention..when no one else in the world seemed to want to.
