I recently had an operation, so I was released to light duty. As a result of that, I ran out of funds. I couldn’t afford to pay my bills! Campv came through for me! They paid all my bills and offered me additional help! They responded to my request immediately! Came in in am, by afternoon they had my bills paid! I humbly thank camp v, without them I would have been homeless! Without camp v, my situation would have been worse! Finally a resource for veterans that really work for veterans! May the lord god bless them with any needed resources and help! Amen!

This is a long awaited and long needed breath of fresh air for our Veterans, Active Duty and their families. The Grand Opening is November 9th and I cannot wait to see all they are bringing to the community.
I’ve spoken with a couple of people at Camp V and found out there will be PTSD and MST experts and Therapy available. Eventually they will have a fitness center and currently they have a small horse stable. There are many other activities planned and Camp V will be evolving and growing on a daily basis.
Organizers and volunteers both have poured their heart and souls into this worthy cause and location. Many thanks to all who support our Veterans.

Very disappointed with working with Camp V. As a spouse of a Retired Veteran, I'm thankful that we never had to use the service here. I have a disabled Veteran that I rent a home (2nd home we've rented to) to and he has been getting the run around with this company. He moved down here and fall on hard times. A VET (J. Burton)called me to ask me questions, answered and sent information that was needed. It was like I was at a police station getting asked questions. I felt uncomfortable so when I spoke with the renter about it, He always stated that J. Burton hasn't been the easiest to work with and his dealing with his PTSD. My husband had to stay the night with this VET to make sure he was good, I'm very uneased that there's someone like this working for the company with our Veterans that really deal with a lot and don't need any help to set them off. If we as people know better, we should do better. Treat our VETS BETTER!!

Truly a one stop shop for all veterans in Smith County! This should be mandated and replicated in all counties in Texas! The care and support is unparalleled. Shout out to Veteran Services Coordinator Joseph Burton who went above and beyond for my husband, a Marine Corps veteran when we needed him the most. I don’t think you’ll find a better group of people to help you or have all of these resources under one roof or in one complex anywhere else. Can’t speak highly enough of Camp V! 🇺🇸🪖❤️

Absolute joy to work with, their main priority and focus is on veterans. They take their jobs personally and it shows in all that they do. Hat tip to Joseph who helped turn around an ugly event for me.
