This company has garnered a solid reputation, with 503 reviews on Google My Business, averaging a high 4.4/5 rating. Many customers praise the YMCA's dedication to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all ages and fitness levels.

One area where the YMCA could potentially improve is by offering sauna facilities, as suggested by some reviewers. The addition of a dry sauna could cater to the needs of those seeking relaxation and the benefits of heat therapy. It is worth noting that the downtown YMCA already provides such amenities, which are highly appreciated by its members. Given the prevalence of air-conditioned offices in the area, a sauna could be a valuable addition to the Cypress Creek location, allowing individuals to sweat out toxins and enjoy the well-known benefits associated with this ancient practice.

In conclusion, the D. Bradley McWilliams YMCA at Cypress Creek is a well-established and highly-rated fitness center that offers a wide range of services for the local community. With its commitment to accessibility and its diverse range of programs, it remains a popular choice for those seeking to improve their physical and mental well-being. As the organization continues to grow, it may consider expanding its facilities to include additional amenities, such as a dry sauna, to better serve its members' needs.

Love this Y but I really wish they had a sauna. The Y downtown has 4 sauna (dry/wet men/women) and they are always in use. In this NW area of Houston nobody in a wide area has a dry sauna and it is so good for the body especially when the US diet average consumes way beyond the safe limit of sodium, leading to the #1 cause of death. People think it's a hot climate but really everyone is just in AC offices all day so nobody is sweating much more than Scandinavians, and they know why it's important.

The variety of classes including on demand classes, adds substantial flexibility. The cleanness of the rooms and equipment are top-notch. I use three different locations and it helps me to do my workout regardless the side of town I'm at. The family oriented environment is pleasant, too. I love YMCA because of the quality of the facilities, the service and the mision that embraces which is deeply rooted in Christian values.

The only thing that it could be better is to get rid of teenagers at the front desk. Most of them can't get off their phones. It might be a bit silly, but I rather see older people at the front because they look at you and say hi.

Prices have increased twice in just a few years without any prior notice. When I brought this up to a front desk representative, she was rude and displayed poor customer service. The facility is staffed with untrained young employees who often engage in casual conversations behind the front desk and throughout the premises, which feels unprofessional. Additionally, broken equipment takes an extended amount of time to be replaced. We used to enjoy this place, but we're now having second thoughts.

Fantastic and modern YMCA! Compared to others I’ve visited, this one stands out as the most up-to-date. The front desk staff is always friendly and eager to help with any questions I have. Equipment and weights are consistently clean and well-maintained, creating a top-notch experience.

This YMCA offers an excellent variety of amenities and activities at a cost-effective price. It's perfect for individuals and families alike, featuring diverse programs that cater to different needs. In my opinion, the YMCA is one of the best values for its price, combining quality, cleanliness, and opportunities for everyone to enjoy.

What a pleasant, helpful group of people! Traveling from Nashville and was having some issues checking in. They were so accommodating in making sure that I stayed committed to my goals and not allowing a small kink to interrupt.

Very thankful!

Terri at the front counter super RUDE for absolutely no reason! And the parking is a little bit of a problem during busy hours! Please work on your employees respect for your members because I always use please and thank you!!! Other than that the turtle pond behind the gym is a plus! O and sad that there is no sauna or steam room.

I think this location is great! (I’m personally only here for the childcare so I can workout)

As a first time mom I was nervous of the child care system but the staff was actually SUPER great at handling all my questions and concerns.

I was a bit disappointed that I can’t see the room my child is in nor can I go in and see what the room looks like & while I understand the reasons, it’s a bit odd. They don’t change the babies diapers or give them snacks, so don’t expect that of them(I like this rule personally and they have restrooms nearby that you can change them before going in and a lounge area that you can feed them before they go in too). Overall the staff is sweet and my daughter had a blast her first day.

I do wish there was a camera system in the room that parents who are scanned in and in the facility can use to see how it’s going cause I feel like in todays age, I rather know my kid is safe and isn’t being mishandled (which as parents we know some childcare facilities have been in lawsuits for things).

The only thing about the child care that kinda sucks for me is that they are closed from 1pm - 4pm which is right around the the time I wanted to bring my little one in cause it’s her wake time. So if I end up finding somewhere with a better schedule that suits us, I may cancel at some point but for now, I think the staff is what’s keeping me signed up here.

The gym area is actually very big and has a ton of great equipment! Platforms, kb’s, hack squat machine, turf area and so much more!

People mind their business and just workout, the pool area is clean.

Their indoor basketball court is a great size with a track on top.

I think it’s great personally! I’ve attached the kids hours so others moms can see if it fits their schedule. 💕

Edit/update: as a former manager/gym worker, the staff is always kind! however, I see a lot of them standing around. The women’s restrooms need repairs and a deep clean, stall handles are loose and the locking mechanism for the stalls don’t even work.

Some of the machines in the weight area need a repair man to come out and fix the cables, platforms need a good steam for less slippery feel.

They refuse to put up the volleyball net even though volleyball was on their calendar for tonight. Their excuse was there weren't enough people. If you had the nets set up in the first place, people would eventually come. And why does it matter how many people show up? It's on your calendar. A woman by the name of Morgan called the shots tonight. Morgan, I hope you have integrity.
