Situated right next to the park, the heritage society, museum and park make for a really great must-visit block of town. A blast back in time with historic homes, post office, gazebo, and more. Ground is very well kept.

It's an old and quiet American town. Not much to look at but some local historic homes, post office etc. It's a relaxing stop to stretch and taking a break during a long drive. The ground is well kept. There's not much traffic so you can feel safe to let the kids out and run around a bit before getting back on the road.

Just walking around this area is a dream. The perfect place to go with family and pets. Is to look at the past at Old Katy and everything looks like in a fairytale. Also perfect for Pokemon Go players as there are many pike stops around and lots of pokemon to catch and gyms to conquer.

Ordered the Historic Katy book from their website 3 weeks before Christmas 2017. When I ordered they charged my account immediately but did not ship the book. Nearly a month later I still have no received the book and they refuse to return emails. I have called repeatedly and no one ever answers. Their voicemail indicates not to leave a message because they will not return calls. Their voice message indicates the best way to contact them it to email, but after two weeks and several emails I have not gotten any return email. I am forced to dispute the charges.

We just had a function at the Stockdick House and everyone bragged on the house. Great venue for a shower or a small function.

Not a great place for kids. They cant really do anything or touch anything. Man at the front was rude. I'm kind of sad that my taxes pay for this
