Went today for my real ID... had a super easy experience! I was a little concerned after reading some of the other reviews. I did pre-schedule a real ID appointment, so I was able to get back pretty quickly. Walked in at 10:39 (my appointment was at 10:40), stood in a small check in line, and was taken back by 10:45. Both of the ladies I spoke with were very nice and friendly. No issues with the documents I brought. All in all, the best experience I could have asked for going to a driver services center!

Made an appointment to get my Real ID on a Saturday. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I recommend this location over other surrounding ones.

11/13/24 The easiest experience I've ever had at motor vehicle. I don't know her name, but the lady working behind counter 03 was so nice and so helpful. Very efficient and knowledgeable. I made an appointment beforehand, and was in and out of there less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend making an appointment online otherwise you'll have to wait and it was fairly crowded.

Polite to others but, in case anyone else has this issue, they will not let you get an ID license, [not the REAL ID], without all marriage and divorce licenses. Even though the requirements on the website does not show that as a requirement for the ID license, only the REAL ID, they will tell you it is a requirement. So if you are getting a basic ID for someone married multiple times in the seventies and eighties, it is a hassle so good luck.
I included screenshot of requirements for REAL ID and ID license. Hopefully they either update their website or their workers to avoid further confusion

Walked in this center to get the real ID. It is really frustrating. The staffers here need definitely a better knowledge about what they are doing. I don't think they are properly trained. See attached picture for documents. I was told repeatedly by two people working there for living that I NEED both documents of TN residency proof within the last 4 months. How absurd! The policy says clearly otherwise. "Applicant must present two of the following documents with one document dated within the last four months"

However, I have had two poor experiences in a row, having my name spelt wrong, and now not being able to correct it after waiting for an hour.

How do I hand you Six forms of identification, and you still can’t spell my name right?

Terrible customer service! Always has been Always will be! This service needs to be provided by Real Government employees. Then they would be held accountable to Someone. This office is ran worse than Dunkin Donuts.

Waited for over an hour for my son to take his knowledge test. All the computers were empty the whole time, it just took them that long to get him checked in. Disorganized.
