My kids love this place! So many fun exhibits for kids that also provide some really interesting history about the area for adult. I'd recommend getting a family pass if you plan on coming a few times a year. Prices have gone up but honestly it's certainly worth the price of admission.

Would be nice to see a few new exhibits. During the years I've been coming here, it's pretty much the same, but my kids are the age that they certainly don't mind.

My family of five normally spends around 2 hours here and the kids enjoy every moment.

Great place to take your kids to explore, learn and play! There were so many fun rooms and my kids had a blast. They especially loved the giant doll house, the water room, and the rocket ship. We plan to bring family next time they come to town.

Great place for learning and playing. I brought 4 kids 10 and under by myself and they all enjoyed themselves with the learning play and with all the many different types of exhibits and activities. If you or your kids like history or really any other activity then this is a good place for you. Tickets were cheap - adults $10 children( 3+) $8 and children under 3 free.

A great place for kids and parents in Oak Ridge.
Oak Ridge has a rich history from its WWII starts as a secret city. You can find maps of the various sites to visit at several locations throughout the city. We picked up one of these and the Children’s Museum was one of the first and closest places that we came across. It is in the heart of Oak Ridge and is a true haven for kids eager to explore, learn, and have a blast. The entrance has a foyer where you are greeted by staff that offer suggestions and collect a fee to visit the museum. This is really designed for kids so adults may find few parts of it as interesting as the children will. The museum's interactive exhibits are very nice and are designed to provide children with hands-on experiences that engage all their senses and show a history of the area. From the fascinating Science Lab, where budding scientists can conduct experiments, to the colorful Arts and Crafts Corner, where creativity flows freely, every corner of the museum offers a unique experience. The museum does a very good job of incorporating education into the exhibits. The exhibits focused on STEM fields, history, and nature, children can broaden their knowledge while having a fantastic time. In conclusion, the Children's Museum of Oak Ridge is a gem in the realm of interactive exhibits. If you have children this is probably a good place to visit.

Awesome place for families. Tickets were pretty cheap. Interactive exhibits. There is a life size doll house for kids along with a jungle boardwalk, riverway water play, historical dress up, pretend grocery store, space ship, puppet theater, and play classroom. Could spend hours here. I enjoyed it as much as the kids. Good bathrooms and friendly staff. Also, connected to national park site and has a playground outside.

Loved this place for the most part. We were a little upset about some of the space room not working, and we didn't really like that they had an ouija table in the middle of one of the rooms. Overall, the staff was friendly, it was educational, and the kids had a blast

It had a lot of cool things. A few were worn down. Some of the rooms, like the Space one, could use some informational things. I liked how it was divided into rooms. It makes it easier to keep track of kids when you have more than one.

This place just keeps going and going! We went with our 2 and almost-4 year olds and they had a blast. Lots of fun exhibits, both educational and play based. Our favorites were the life-sized doll house, the spaceship to mars, and the farm-to-table play area. This is very reasonably priced for how long you could spend here. Also, if you have a national parks passport book, bring it for some stamps at the front desk from the Manhattan Project info desk.
