I just want to say that the staff at the facility literally saved my life. They have been being so kind to me and helped me in every single kind of way that you could help a person. They made sure I have a winter coat. A safe place to sleep. The staff was so kind to me. I'm am so blessed to be here. They helped me reunite with my dog period I love these people. They deserve a thousand gold stars!

Employees will give you a bad attitude for not knowing exactly what you can and can't do when there are no rules posted, no info given to you upon entering, and no info of what can and can't be brought inside on the website. I feel like they need to be trained on how to approach people in a kinder manner. We're not criminals, and it's not jail, so it shouldn't be treated as so.

The food is also awful. I get that it's not going to be great but you'd think they'd have like at least a few seasonings or spices in the kitchen. Everything was bland and meals rarely included a protein.

Wouldn't recommend unless you're absolutely desperate.

Firstly, this place is nothing of "Christian based" nor a safe haven. I tried to stay with my 4 small children few months ago but was unable to because it felt very unsafe. Drug addicts stumbling "after hours" and was still able to come in and violate policy because "they accidentally fell asleep and forgot to come back" Then 2 drug addicts started fighting. By the time they tried to get things under control, I felt I came from an unsafe situation for myself and my children to another unsafe environment.
I called this shelter today not knowing this is the same shelter, because it is the only one available. Right after I was asked for my information, I was then told I have to get up in just few hours even if I get there at wake up time, I have to stay up with everyone else, including my small 4 children with no sleep. I explained I have significant health issues and disabilities and she said that doesn't matter it is policy. Thats when I mentioned my previous experience and how I was trying to understand how the policy varies from person to person.
I personally feel I was discriminated against, because of my last name and where it originated from also retaliation for leaving few months ago without completing intake because I told them I felt unsafe with my children because of all the drug addicts and fighting. She (Kristin) even stated "I have you in the system" So not only do you choose when the policy applies, you choose who the policy applies too and the fact you refuse to accommodate those with health issues and disabilities. This shelter needs to lose all funding and stripped of all benefits. They do not follow their own core values and cause more hardship and chaos than anything.

Whoever said this place was a good place to be lied to you! to those who would donate, don’t bother, we get moldy undercooked subpar “food “ are treated like garbage, our civil and human rights being violated daily, don’t feel safe anywhere here and denise A using facilities like her own personal house and threatening people to throw wheelchairs and walkers away, using the room for the disabled for able people

I have stayed at this mission. It does not represent Christ (except chapel time, so one hr a day). I pray they remove the cross from their building and website. I have been highly disappointed in how this place is being ran. I have tried a couple of times to discuss with them "higher ups" to include Mr Cranfield CEO himself, my grievances and concerns but they refused to meet with me. The One high point, it is a great place to go to train for FEMA Camp. I hope this place gets exposed to their donors and the community their website claims to be serving.

I am really grateful for the services..food,clothes,.....the mission should do better with their services after you go through the WorkLab..the caseworker for CES shows up when they want to. How do you tell someone to be on time to an appointment and no show......I have to travel to get to the mission only to be told no one is there......I feel like they want you to stay struggling because why is no one here to sign us up for housing if that's the purpose of the program....It feels like a joke for real ....I guess I have to go sign myself in the system only if I could......stranded in Tennessee
