We did the walkthrough, and the employees are very knowledgeable about the animals. These animals are basically wild but rescued from shows, former movie animals, illegally owned, Laboratories, etc.

What a great day! So glad we stopped. Our tour guide, Savannah was outstanding! She knew lots of info about each one of the animals and was able to answer tons of questions. I would absolutely recommend the tour! Walking after the tour was great to take as long as we wanted to look at the animals. The animals here all have a story. Thank goodness they made their way to Keepers of the Wild! Without them they would not have survived. They are fed well and their habitats are cleaned every day. The only thing which could have made this better was to see the hibernating bears or attending the 330 tour to watch the feedings.

Very nice place not crowded. But to plan better in my opinion go to the guided tours. I went on the 1530 feeding tour and you still have time after to go see your favorite or the whole park. Bring cash because their electricity does go out. Also I love that you can bring your own food and they have chairs and tables. Drinks are available to purchase.

Top place to stop if you’re doing AZ Route 66 (be sure to get the Route 66 passport from kingman!)
We did the 3:30 tour and we really enjoyed. They feed the big cats on our tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. Each animal is incredible. My daughter especially loved the spider monkeys.

We used the Get Out Pass. Great value and they’ll let you upgrade to the tour.

HOWEVER there is no cell service there. You need to take a screenshot of your pass ahead of time. I had to drive back down the road until I got service to redeem my pass. The cashier wasn’t familiar with the pass but hopefully they’ll work all that out.

Also, I tried calling and messaging before our visit but I couldn’t get in touch with anyone.

Very cool place and a must if you’re driving along the Mother Road!

I love that this place exists because some humans really suck! The animals here come from both private and some very public (previous) owners who should never have pets. even if these animals won't ever make it back to their rightful habitat, these people take care of them and give them a better life.

They have mostly big cats, but they have taken in other animals as well. Did the bus tour and had a very friendly, informative guide. You can walk through but the guided tour offers a unique perspective. The place is run solely on donations and the revenue generated at the park, so save some money for the gift shop when you go.

Absolutely loved this place! We have a habit of trying to search out sanctuaries, wildlife areas, nature parks, etc. Obviously you can’t pet these big guys. But it’s a wonderful educational park, they take in a lot of animals that otherwise would be put down (hand reared tigers, pet monkeys((there’s one with no teeth because the owner pulled them all out in the hopes it would stop biting ?), other parks that shut down) and give them the best life possible. Bring your walking shoes! Lots of sand/pea gravel, also sunglasses and at the very least 1 hour of time.

Nice, friendly and caring people. Walked around and then but took the feeding tour at 3:30. Heard the rescue stories for the animals. Rescues from Tiger king show, wolves surviving a Fire, monkey with Anger issues. No service and had to use GPS so make sure phone is charged. Closed Tuesdays!
