I love this gym. It’s perfect and very family oriented! However! I do NOT like being harassed in the women’s bathroom by the custodians when my daughter ( 7 ) is with me. They tell me when HAVE to use the family bathroom. I pay to much money to HAVE to use a bathroom that’s full of men and boys. I will continue to use the LADIES restroom with my daughter.

Gigi is simply amazing!!! I had messed up sitting up my account online and was costing my a ton of money! In the sweetest way should me what I done and helped me correct a $75 error I had made. She is the best! Thank you Gigi!!

I have been going to this YMCA off and on for the last 10 years. I really enjoy the upstairs track, the pool, and the fun classes. The friendly environment, especially seeing people sitting and chatting with each other, is a very positive atmosphere and helps energize me.

I don't really like doing reviews but this location has annoyed me enough to say something about the horrible quality of service there. I wish I could give no stars at all. I have had this membership for a few years now and on several occasions I have reached out about a personal trainer but no one ever calls back. I've been reaching out for almost 3 months now and still nothing. I have gone by and was told who to call and she never responds. My daughter is there every day and have inquired for me and still nothing. The same thing happened when I inquired about getting my daughter swimming lessons no one ever responded so I ended up signing her up for private lessons at MTSU. If you're considering this location don't bother. You'll be better off going to one of the other locations or a different fitness center all together.

Location is way too small for the crowd that attends. It’s really hard to understand the amount of money this place generates from members but can’t keep up with maintenance and renovations to expand the location due to not enough workout equipment. It’s frustrating when you want to use certain equipment but you cannot and have to work around others and wait turns until available. The SAUNA & STEAM room has been down for over a month and this is the main reason for attending the ymca to utilize those areas. Was told 3 different dates it’ll be ready and nothing. The amount that we pay as a family and can’t use certain equipment due to the heavy crowd and Sauna & Steam room not available is preposterous and unacceptable. We will be cancelling our membership if this does not get resolved.

I am just getting started. Everyone is very friendly and very polite.and answers any questions I might have. Even the people that come in to use the facilities are very nice as well. I have talked to some of them as well.

Ashley C. at North Rutherford family YMCA is awesome! She is always looking out for the community, and doing specially events to support local residents. Ashley works hard for all of us with the charities, youth events, community events, give backs, and much more.

The staff is so positive and encouraging. Even the door greeters smile and notice you upon entry. Registration for membership was flawless and no extra hidden fees were assessed as in other gyms. The scheduled times of the group classes have been varied enough to establish a good workout routine in the early morning, so consistency in getting fit has been easy to maintain. In general, the warm, clean environment makes membership a pleasant experience.
