Other than the great local resources old pueblo has to offer, I applied for assistance to finish school and not risk losing my home as a single parent, Old pueblo provided substantial assistance so I can further my education during my internship. I am forever grateful for this company advocating for me and helping me and my children 🙂 I sent emails to other organization seeking assistance and old pueblo replied back to me within 1 business day.

Unfortunately i had to choose at least 1 star. If you are looking for a place you can stay for free and not work its perfect. If you work expect alot of hurdles. For some reason this place works that way. Ok the staff...Serena the main lady is very unstable herself, she thinks Halloween should be every day. So she has like stuffed dolls dressed in dark themes. IDK, if you go you will meet Serena and see what im saying. Otherwise its a bunch of stg members that run the place like prison. Your good if your not white or black or republican or really anything but mexican. And dont leave your valuables out. Them boss ballers dont have hustle, how do they have money to party?

They helped me find an apartment quickly and are nice to me. Well they have been good to me. They just recently said my rent would go up 80 dollars a month. When i asked them why they basically said because they could. They tell me they are going to move me to a program with the housing authority . Yet when I fill out the paperwork they tell me they don't know what's happening. I talk to my case manager tomorrow. Hope to get answers. I have made a complaint to their CEO in writing but as yet haven't heard back. I am in a vulnerable position. If we can't work things out I most likely will leave them and Tucson with a bad taste in my mouth.

I've went through Old Pueblo Community Services program at the Oasis house several years ago and it really helped me get my life back on track. They had group and one on one counselling sessions as well as case management. The program was 3 months long. When I graduated that program I was able to move forward with my life in a positive manner. I was given the tools I needed in order to stay sober and be independent. They helped with referrals to a employment program that not only help me build a fantastic resumes it help me find permanent employment that paid more than minimum wage. That agency help me with my moving costs by paying my deposit and my first and last months rent. They even had a program that allows a person the option to move to discounted housing for a year to help you save money. I believe any program is going to help a person if they are committed to engage in it and work too better themselves. Oasis helped me change my life and I am forever grateful for the program and for the staff that we're committed to helping me grow and become my best self. Thank you OPCS.

This place does not deserve 1 star but its the only way to get th truth out there. My mother in law finally stood up and left this place. (TODAY) They were very rude to not only my other half, but neglectful, mentally and emotionally abusive towards my mother in law! When she went to them about her roommates using drugs and stealing all her stuff, they told her they knew they were using and to pretty much "DEAL WITH IT"!!! Like seriously! People have confessed to selling their prescriptions there, and didn't have any consequences!!! WTH? She has SMI, and they were not treating her properly for it. There are roaches everywhere and they won't do anything about it when, they know they make her start having an anxiety/panic attack. She was attacked and hurt there and they said she was lying. When her son was there, she finally said enough was enough! They wouldn't let he in to get her things, they put her belongings in trash bags and stole her pillows amongst other items, and broke almost all the valuables she owns! This place at the Bellevue location needs to be shut down with negative -15/10 stars!!!
