All of these programs are dead ends. They throw a "resource list" at you and send you on your way. The homeward bound program requires that you have a vehicle. Obviously if some of us had one, we wouldn't be asking for a place to sleep. I was told you need to be in a tent on the street, WHICH IS ILLEGAL, before they could help me. I'm disabled and have a child. Think our state cares? NOPE. Half of our city is homeless. MEANWHILE, Knoxville can spend millions on the sports stadiums, luxury hotels, condos, and gated communities that NOBODY CAN AFFORD. Why are there income requirements at LOW INCOME PLACES?!?! I guess nobody is gonna get it until we are all homeless and starving in the streets here. This place got two stars because they actually answered the phone.

I wish I could give this organization my praise, but unfortunately I can't. This is a worthy cause but it is served by self-serving and self righteous individuals at the head of this organization. These folks care very little for the working poor. They are the greatest cause of atheism in the world today as so called Christians. They acknowledge God with their lips and walk out the door and deny him by their lifestyles. This is what an unbelieving world simply find unbelievable. Shame on you it would be so easy to do good for this population.

So many people need help right now during this chaos driven pandemic. It's so hard to ask for help during times of crisis but it sure makes the process a lot easier when you have kind, compassionate people there to serve you during a rock bottom moment. Thank you for all you do!!

I have been trying to contact this place for quite some time and i only get answering machine. I have left messages and either missed callback or don't hear back from them. The one time I did get someone on the line I got a receptionist who asked me a few questions and she told me someone would call me back within 3 buisness days. No call back was ever received.
