Really horrible experience volunteering for this organization. I was not given the time of day by anyone and was told at one point to slow down because the prisoners (yes I was the only volunteer, everyone else was doing mandatory community service) would have to go back early.

Really good deals on furniture and I feel like I got a killer deal on a Brother printer. The printer retails on Amazon for $649 and I got it for $149. Works great!

I've always thought these guys were cool. I tried to donate some items today and when the guys showed up they didn't like a chair I had, there was dog hair on it. They explained some people might be allergic so they couldn't take it. I understand that. I had a dresser that needs to be refinished and some other items the person on the phone said they wanted. I also added a couple of collapsable dog crates and a case of n95 masks. The guys took a couple of items and vanished! I was waiting a about 20 min and they didn't come back so I went to check on them. They really did vanish, I found a receipt on my porch and they were nowhere to be seen. I called the office and all I was told was, "sorry, it is up to their discretion if they pick anything up. We only want gently used furniture that we can sell."

I don't care that they didn't want my stuff, at least thank me for what they took and tell me they don't want all of the stuff I've offered. While on the phone with the rep at Habitat I mentioned the other things I wanted to donate and I was asked to deliver them myself. Hell no! I'm not delivering anything, that is why I called you guys.

Seems these guys are just as shady as goodwill.

I felt they were very disrespectful and I will avoid them at all costs in the future.

The total scam they claimed my application was incomplete, I provided all personal info that belonged to my daughter and bank account info all to get an email back saying the application was "incomplete " you guys are getting people's hopes up for nothing." And getting $25 money orders for nothing. Where is all the personal information going to? I literally spent hours collecting all the information on the list for the housing program for them to pull this. I will be contacting my family attorney.

Habitat for humanity is a noble endeavor- but holy smokes! I went into the store and was really shocked. Outrageously overpriced. I can buy new furniture for what they're asking. Very disappointing.
