Wendy Henderson is of the best NPs I’ve seen in quite a while. She is a great listener, proactive in her patients care, with genuine concern and expertise. Her patients are not just a number to her. She is truly engaged and top notch quality. So glad to find her. The receptionists were efficient with setting up new care and getting records, and very cordial. The social worker was on spot and timely. The phlebotomist was one anyone would wish for…very experienced, knowledgeable, and caring. The team really likes making a difference in their patients care.

Dental and medical should not be in same waiting room. You can get sick while waiting for dental work. Should not have to wait in a germ filled room. They need to split it into two different offices like it use to be….

We originally made 4 dental appointments, one for myself, my husband and our 2 kids. Mine and my husband's appointments were rescheduled to December. We canceled them due to already waiting since March to get in to be seen in September. The kids had their appointment after waiting from March to August. It went pretty well. My son had a cavity so we had to follow up in a month to have the cavity filled. So appointment day arrives, and we get inside, sit for a few mins and were called back. The hygienist was friendly, I asked quietly as for my son not to hear if he was going to have to get a shot vs. gas, and she tells me to not mention it because "you know how kids are, I used to work in a peds dentistry office and kids would go nuts." Was asked if I wanted to wait in the lobby while my 5 year old had his filling done." I politely declined while standing in the hallway and not in the exam room. The dentist comes in and has no idea what he was supposed to be doing, gets a personal phone call and takes it, walks out to his car and gets something for the receptionist, all while we were waiting in the exam room. Then he comes back in and asks if I was talked to about a pediatric dentistry, while mind you he was the dentist my kids saw and mentioned nothing at the last appointment. No one called me, told me I needed to make those arrangements at all. Then he asks me if I want to wait in the lobby as kids behave better when their parents aren't around. Again my son is 5, so I politely declined again. I asked if he could please use gas if possible as a shot would completely ruin my sons dental experience and he loves the dentist so I didnt want him to be afraid to go. After standing around for what felt like forever, the dentist put the gas on my son and he (my son) was talking a lot but not misbehaving, the dentist kept saying this is a job for a peds dentist dont you think, asking the hygienist. He asked me if i thought so too. I explained to him, this should have been discussed prior to this appointment and we have already waited almost 6 months to even get a cleaning, then an additional 1 month for this appointment so I would like to get it taken care of. The dentist proceeded to tell me that it "requires a certain amount of cooperation" from my son. Neither the dentist or the hygienist were even telling him what they needed him to do. He's 5, he's going to need instruction. After 5 minutes they decided we needed a referral so I gave in as we were getting absolutely no where. The hygienist wrote the name of a place down for me and told me that they accept tenncare, to call and tell them his cavity was hurting him every day until they schedule him , which isn't true and they'll get him in quick and we don't even have tenncare, not that anything is wrong with it. So, I called this dentist they suggested and they are not accepting new patients of any kind. I was livid at this point. The lack of professionalism from the dentist was appalling, and I truly feel terrible for people who have no other option to go here. I chose this place out of location convenience. I will not be returning and won't be recommending this place to anyone. A complete lack of communication is a serious problem here. Had they told me at my sons cleaning that he needed to see a peds dentist, that would have made a world of difference, but instead he had to be pulled out of school to come to an appointment where they did nothing and then he had to be checked out early today to get established with a new dentist so he could have the tooth fixed before it cause any further damage and has to go in late tomorrow in order to have the actual work done.

Horrible staff- incompetent doctor. I was in need of emergency dental work. They got me in two days after calling to check and see what needed to be done, then said they wouldn’t be able to pull a severely broken tooth until 6 weeks later. I asked for a sooner apt because I was/am in serious pain (wouldn’t prescribe any meds either) and was told I was SOL for 6 weeks by the receptionist. Receptionist then tried canceling my apt against my wishes of trying to keep it, lied to other staff and told them I wanted the apt canceled. And then i was later called by some kind of ‘manager’ and told that Dr. Howard wouldn’t be able to pull the tooth because he thought it was too difficult for him to do. Howard needs to retire and receptionist fired. I have never been treated so poorly by medical professionals.

Don't bother going to Angela Brown, the look on her face and bedside manner should say it all. Some doctors have forgotten their purpose, she is a prime example of that. She disregarded all my husband's symptoms, prescribed pharmacuticals with no explanation of what they are/why they are needed and even though she "listened" to what my husband said she heard nothing! The only great doctors here are Chrissy Long and Tina Jackson, otherwise I highly suggest you go elsewhere.

The upfront staff was helpful and pleasant. The doctor my boyfriend saw was very unprofessional and she talked really loud like she was yelling. She was dressed very sloppy and just seemed rude and didn't seem to care what the patient had to say . I would not recommend this place. Yes they have a sliding scale fee and when you don't have insurance it's very affordable but the doctor doesn't have to treat you like you are not worth their time.

The receptionists are professional and prompt. I've only seen Dr. Martin he's an MD which is important to me. I worked in medical profession for 30 years. I don't think much of nurse practitioners, to me they're wannabees -- nurses acting like doctor's. I say if you're that smart go back to school get your degree and license to prove it.
Dr Martin is not new to the profession and treatment shows it. I'm very thankful to have him caring for my husband and myself.

Great knowledgable physicians with not long to wait. Plenty of seating if you feel the need to be covid spaced and parking in the back for people that possible have covid.
