Went here to get a few maps of local trails and not disappointed at all. Told the gentleman what we looking for and he handed us correct map. Morgan County is one of Tennessee's lesser known great hiking destinations.

We were able to go to the inaugural event of the Pow Wow this year and I had a really good time! It was a great experience for me and I am hoping that they will be able to keep it going. It is important that you have an event for Native American people to celebrate their culture no matter what tribe or nation they are! The Aztec Dancers were absolutely STUNNING and we enjoyed the individual dancers as well. They also made sure to honor the veterans that were there and that is important too (those men and women don't get thanked enough!) When we got there, there was a drawing on the table (a raffle for some of the artisans items that they had made....jewelry, leather accessories, etc.) We put our names in with the little bit of cash we brought with us) I thought , What the heck...might as well and it supports the venue in any small way we could. We usually NEVER win but might as well try. We waited until the Pow Wow was done and they announced the winners to the drawing. We didn't hear our name so we thought we didn't win (oh well nothing new and someone else got a chance to win them) but .....we DID WIN!! Thank you to whoever made them....thank you sooooo much! I had a smaller version very similar to the green one that I inherited from my mom after she passed away so I plan to wear it along with the other one. They sent both necklaces to us and my husband's mother would've been so proud! She was Cherokee and her favorite flower was the Indian Paintbrush. Thank you!

It's a cute little stop neatly displayed pamphlets nice clean restrooms. the lady in there was very nice but not real informative. A quarter mile up the street has more detail on tourist attractions about the Obed.

I only parked here to access the CHS Loop Trail which is part of the Cumberland Trail. Parking area was nice and my car wasn't bothered.
