You can not get through on the phone. The refuse to answer it. They also refuse to return messages left on their voice-mail. This place use to be very efficient before covid hit. But now there are only 2 women that work there (I'm pretty sure) I never see anyone in the office needing help yet you can't get them to help you unless you show up face to face.i have left messages day after day and still no return. I can't get help from the 800 # either. You can't get through to talk to a live person.. ever I haven't been able to for weeks since I started trying. If I could give this place 0 stars I would

Turned in verification paperwork second week of September. After the long wait I called the 1866 number just to he told that the dhs office never uploaded my documents to my case. If I could give this office 0 stars I would. You are better off uploading your own documents online.

I wanna start by saying I likethe employees in the Wartburg office and it's not there fault but I have 2 children and my stamps were cut off almost 2 months ago I had a phone appt on the 15th of last month and my case worker never called me I waited from 6am-10pm on her call and she never called yet I did everything I was supposed to do yet me and my kids are the ones suffering and I have called her multiple times and can't get her on the phone so I went into the office and they said I would have to wait til my next appt a month from that day even though I wasn't the one that missed my appt she did I was punished and there is absolutely nothing I can do about is so in other words the case workers can pretty much do whatever they wanna do to u and there is nothing you can do about it! Even if u make sure u filled out and returned your renewal form in person many days before your appt and u even turned them in person at the DHS office it won't matter cause u can waste an entire day waiting for a call that probably won't ever come and then if it doesnt u have to wait another month on another appt just to hope and pray they actually call me this time. HOW IS ANY OF THIS OKAY! We're expected to jump through hoops for our case worker and do everything she asks us to do by the time she says we have to do it yet she doesn't have to even do her job and the only one suffering is me and my kids .... It's sad 😢😭

I've been in Morgan County almost 2 years and the people at this location have been an absolute blessing for me. Not only when I first transferred from Putnam Co but several times since, including today when I received a review letter from Putnam Co/ Gainsboro... I've never even been to Gainsboro TN. So I say "Thank you Ms Whitney!! And you as well Ms Betsy~for all that you do to help me and everyone else in Morgan County!!" You guys are the BEST 👍!!
