Great library has made some awesome changes!
If they dont have it, they buy it (better than Archive.org)
No late fees they unblock your card when you return the book.
A lot of free stuff on Libby on line.
Text to renew.

Thank you! Books are so expensive!

Always nice and quiet. Haven't been in a long time. Really enjoyed it! Have a lot more services than most people realize. Especially me can purchase Wi-Fi hotspot. It's got a place for you and your family to go and have a good time and learn lots of computers

I absolutely love this place! Unfortunately I sometimes don't get to come here but when I do, it is very relaxing. The only thing is, I have to either eat or drink before or after I arrive because they don't allow food or drinks there. Honestly, I understand that rule. But that's why I usually can't stay there as long as I'd like to. But it has the greatest atmosphere for people like me who are just looking for a little bit of peace and quiet. I only wish that I could stay a little bit longer sometimes.

Getting a library card is almost impossible. Staff are not great.

The library has a decent selection of books, movies, one study room, and computers (assuming you can get a library card). But good luck asking the staff anything. They don't seem to want to help or are quick to dismiss.

They don't really help with anything outside of checking out library books.

If you need business help, legal resources, or literally anything you come to a library for other than checking out a book, either they don't know how to help you or won't.

They have a decent collection and nice year-round programs for the community, but their return process is difficult and unorganized. The only place you can return items during open hours is a drop-box at the front of the building at the circulation desk, and since parking is limited to mainly the back of the building, there is no simple and quick way to return items. Furthermore, I have only returned books to the circulation desk drop-box twice, and BOTH times they have lost the item. Days after I returned the books, I began receiving emails saying the due date was approaching, so I had to call (multiple times because the line was busy), and wait on hold for 5-10 minutes while they searched for the item that I had returned days ago. The first item was located after about 10 minutes, and the second still has not been found. These were not isolated accidents, but rather, happened back to back within a month, so if you're a new user to this library, make sure you hand deliver to the circulation clerk and watch them check your material in.

They seem to have a nice selection, but getting a card is worse than getting a driver's license. Seriously- you have to visit 3 times to check out more than 3 books. the first time you fill out a postcard and they MAIL IT TO YOU and then you have to bring it back to prove it is you. Then you get a card but can only check out 3 books. THEN when you bring those back you can check out more.
It is easier to get a Driver's License (which is a valid ID in, well, everywhere, except the Morristown Library where it is useless). Go to the Jefferson City Library.
