Way overcrowded! To a point where it is standing room only in the pool. There is no swimming around or even lounging around in one spot when you have over 10 kids+ jumping around you and ON TOP of you!
Considering I coughed up over $1000 just for myself. I was upset that this place is strictly targeted for children and families. There is no consideration taken for single adults such as myself. Many times people have landed on top of me while I was swimming in the deep end. I have voiced my concerns to management, and while they were polite (I spoke to Scott) they told me there is nothing they can do to change or accommodate anything.
I suggested that perhaps there should be a time where the deep end has people jumping in and out and another time frame dedicated to JUST SWIMMING. I was trying to meet them halfway but they did not. I also spoke to another staff (Valentina Lorca) and unlike Scott, she was completely dismissive of my issues. Stating that nothing will be changed or accommodated.
Additionally, they have swimming lessons right in the middle of an overcrowded pool with regular swimmers. You can tell that these people are trying to make money as much as possible, and they strictly do not care about anyone’s quality of life, or enjoyment. While they charge for single adult members, they strictly cater to families and children ONLY!
Not to mention, that by 1pm even on weekdays most of the seats are taken. You either have to awkwardly find chairs sandwiched between other people or sit on the floor. The whole point of me joining these places is to relax NOT FIGHT TRAFFIC!
I will be joining a different pool club next summer, interestingly very close to them and I heard much much much quieter! Common Point Pool in Bayside is only for people who do not mind being on top of people. In the water and on the deck.
