My first visit was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and professional, from the front office, medical assistants, and providers. I had my first pap done here and Dr. Kim made it so comfortable. It didn’t hurt at all. Also got my labs drawn here at the same time so it’s lovely. I had issues with my meds and they fix it by the end of the day. I’d definitely come here again.

They treat you with respect, wait time is not long, the only Thing I don’t like is that they have nurse and social worker giving consult, they are allowed I know, but I prefer a more prepare professional, because I am poor it doesn’t mean I don’t have importance, therefore I will find another place.

I’ve visited the both the Washington Heights and Harlem locations and received excellent care & service. It takes a while sometimes to get them on the phone, but other than that I’m utterly confused about the poor reviews. The nurse practitioners and doctors are competent and I’ve not experienced long wait times as I have at other clinics. Perhaps it’s the time that I go which is in the morning or early afternoon. Additionally, before I lost my job I had excellent insurance and went to many high end private doctors’ offices. I’ve found this clinic to be comparable or better in every way. I’ve found my experience with this clinic to be friendly, patient-oriented, down-to-earth, & efficient. It’s clean & everything is connected through technology so you can go to either clinic & they have your information & history on file. They call in prescriptions quickly & don’t make you feel embarrassed to ask questions. They’re patient & explain everything. Whenever I leave a message, a health care professional calls me back within 48 hours (from a private number so you have to remember that & not decline the call!). On the whole, I highly recommend this clinic, particularly the nurse practitioners Evelyn & Amanda. But everyone is nice & professional. I’ll continue to visit this clinic even after I’m off Medicaid & get insurance from my new job.

Don't go here. They screw up apts all the time & it takes forever to get an apt. They call you at inappropriate times. Rude front desk. They don't greet you when you come in. The drs are stupid and have no idea what they are doing unless tou tell them. They don't read their notes on you. Unfortunately, its the only place that takes most insurances.

I’ve been a patient here for over 6 years. They've cared for me my entire pregnancy. The front staff has always been super nice and super helpful. The staff in general has always been superb. 100% on their office manners.
However the wait time is IMPOSSIBLE. I’ve never gone in and not had to wait hours. It’s like 2-3 hour minimum wait. It’s crazy. Appointment or not. It doesn’t help that their location past and present has the worst service so you can’t even text/call anyone once you get to the back.
Also it’s ridiculously hard to get an appointment that isn’t a month away. Those 2 reasons are why I bumped them down 2 stars. But you’ll still have a lovely experience if you don’t mind the wait.

I have been going to this place since I was 15. I am currently 27, at the beginning yes it was great. But now it has become extremely frustrating when it comes to waiting time. I waited today almost 3 hours for a Pap smear that I wasn’t even due for. The nurses are kind and the young doctors are as well but it just isn’t worth it. I wasted my time and am late for another errand that I needed to get done. I am extremely bothered by the fact that, that was not a concern for them to check when I needed a Pap smear before scheduling me for one. I am going to begin looking for another primary doctor/clinic because this cannot be the best the heights has to offer. They need much more organization.

Unfortunately I’m reviewing without having seen any actual doctors here because I never got past the wait time. As a new patient I arrived early to fill out paperwork and after waiting an hour after my scheduled time, I asked for an update. Thankfully I did because I was told there were still two patients ahead of me. I was then offered another appointment... a month away. Mind you it took me a month to get an appointment here in the first place. I spoke to the manager who was extremely helpful and got me a slot with a nurse practitioner the following week, but I have to leave a warning for future patients as I see from other reviews this is a pattern and I’m skeptical I won’t have to wait another hour when I go next week. The front desk staff is very kind and the manager very understanding but the wait time alone was worth a 1 star review.
