It has become an awesome park system with cool playgrounds such as Makino Park’s Common Ground accessible playground and the new Pine Hill Lakes playground. The Mason Municipal Aquatic Center is a nice addition to Corwin Nixon Park.

The Common Ground park is wonderful. I just ask parents of typically developing children to take your children to absolutely ANY OTHER PARK as children with sensory difficulties, autism, down syndrome, etc. really need a place where they can play without the chaos of other kids running over them. I implore parents to be sensitive to the needs of children with special needs and let them have this place as it was intended.
