A small but cozy cafe. I had the white chicken chili which was delicious. I also had the veggie wrap. It was also delicious. My husband enjoyed the chicken strips. Food came out quickly.

Wonderful chicken sandwiches full of hefty chunks of marinated and grilled chicken. I had the Peruvian chicken sandwich, which was delicious! We had both the waffle fries and sweet potato fries. Friendly people and nice atmosphere for relaxing for a while. So glad we stopped off the highway for this place!

As a strong supporter of local small business, and as someone who knows intimately the permanent effect of a single negative review, I refuse to give a 1 star review. I will instead imagine I had a good experience. I will imagine that a cook didn’t come out in the middle of us ordering at 6:30pm to inform us that a restaurant purporting to have the best smash burgers in town is out of burger patties, and that I am now the only person at my table to not get a smash burger. Smash burgers. 3 oz of beef. They were down to 3 oz of beef at 6:30pm in a Saturday. This was our whole reason to go to the place. The reason for the meet up. IF YOU NEED TO LEAVE TO GET STOCK TO MEET DEMAND THEN LEAVE TO GET STOCK TO MEET DEMAND. There was no apology, no restitution, no discount, only annoyance that I was now holding up the line because I had to order a sandwich that I didn’t want, as the party I was with had already ordered and paid. I will imagine for the sake of my review that my fries hadn’t arrived late enough that I was done with my sandwich before they arrived because an order that wasn’t mine had been improperly seasoned and needed to be re-done. If you come to this restaurant, make sure you place your order at no later than 6:29 to ensure you are able to actually order what you want from the menu. There’s no telling what they may run out of next. I really look forward to coming back and getting to try what looked like really good burgers. Maybe next time. Waffle fries were good. 5/5 stars.

Two of the best restaurants in town are in The Old Town Marketplace!

West Fifth Kitchen has some of the best smash burgers ever (and the best club sandwich) and has *THE BEST* waffle fries I've ever had. They also have some bangin' hot chocolate and the same coffee as Coffee Hall with none of the wait!

Guelaguetza is the best Mexican in town, there's not a thing on their menu I don't like! (My go-to for breakfast is the breakfast tacos and my go-to for lunch/dinner is the buffalo chicken tacos). While you're there, try the horchata, you won't be disappointed!

Both spots have the nicest people working that will always go above and beyond for you. We are so very lucky to have The Old Town Marketplace in our community!

This was my first time here and i loved it. A great concept for people in groups who can’t agree on what they want to eat. I had the Tio Nachos with barbacoa, and they were amazing. Honestly the best barbacoa i’ve had. It’s also a massive portion for the price.

I can't find a page specific to the West 5th kitchen so leaving this here. I stopped in to get a breakfast to go, got home to eat it and WOW! I went with the Uptown breakfast sandwich. Has to be the best sandwich I've ever had. Highly highly recommend!!

If you are in Marysville, I highly recommend visiting old town marketplace. People are always so friendly 🙂
