Stewart’s Caring Place is a Cancer Wellness Center and it’s mission is to provide a caring, relaxed environment offering supportive services and programs at no cost for individuals and families touched by cancer.
They have moved into a new location and it is gorgeous, welcoming and very spacious. If you know anyone who has cancer I highly recommend they see what is being offered at Stewart’s Caring Place!

Probably the most ridiculous moment of my brother's cancer journey was at Stewart's Care. He just had brain surgery with huge staples visibly on the whole side of his head. His cancer traveled to his brain. Stewart's Care was recommended to us. He filled out the paperwork, told the staff member where he was in cancer journey, which was stage 4 and eventually terminal.

As we're seeing the facility room by room, we get to the massage area and this person told my brother "...with massage and positive thoughts, his cancer can possibly shrink."

My brother quickly said to her - "Have you had cancer?" She said no. "Well, you clearly don't know much". Then my brother said let's get out of here.

Stage 4 uncurable cancer which traveled to 3 locations in his body and at that point he went through 250 chemotherapy treatments, but getting a back rub at Stewart's Care will cure all.

I've only seen my brother angry less than a handful of times in my lifetime. He was furious.

I am so happy to have found Stewart's Caring place, the staff and volunteers are extremely dedicated to helping out in so many areas. I am especially thankful for all of assistance I have received from Matt Mize, who has gone above and beyond to help me navigate the financial ups and downs that have been stressful during this time. This place has a beautiful mission and has a fully welcoming environment. The people who have curated this place have thought of everything individuals and families facing cancer might need. Everything is free, and centered around supporting those on their cancer journey. I highly recommend checking out their services.

This place is a blessing among blessings. If you or a loved one are dealing with diagnosis, please get here ASAP, everything is free. Need a wig? Free. Need an exercise class? Free. Need a support group? Free.
